Yeah they did. Not saying they aren't a good team but they do have weaknesses. Indian frontline bowlers have bowled well for majority of th let tournament. Our problem is the 5th bowlers conceding runs. Be it Jadeja or Pandya.

Pandya's bowling is being criticised for no reason. He's a fifth bowler and bowls like it. If we compare his bowling to Stokes in this tournament then he has gone at a lesser economy rate whilst taking the same amount of wickets. Not saying he's a better bowler than Stokes but some context is needed.
The pitches are absolutely flat here, you can't expect the fifth bowler to go under 6 in these type of pitches(which Pandya has gone in the 1st and 3rd match)

Frankly I think Pandya has the ability to become a legit batsman rather than remain just a Jadeja kind of batsman. He should work on that imo so that he can get into a 5-6 batting spot. Yuvi and Dhoni are going to retire in a couple of years max and at that point he could fill in at 6. I also don't know how long term Jadhav is going to be.
Yuvraj needs to get in a few more overs I think. The problem is giving your part timer all 10, I think eventually the batsman figure them out.
Feel like this is going to be England's tournament to lose.. Hope for a India vs England final.. Think that would be the most entertaining.. England's batting power seems to be on a different level, everyone seems to have peaked at the right time..

Bowlers will have to limit them to around 250 for our batting to have any chance of chasing it down.
I'm not understanding this hype around England's batting. Literally, every international team has done exactly what they're doing but many years ago. India in 2009 with prime Sehwag, Sachin, Yuvi, Raina and Dhoni would massacre every team. I remember us scoring 300 for fun in those days. England are doing now what most teams have been doing for many years.

Pakistan bowlers have just changed this match. Sri Lanka on the ropes here, much like South Africa yesterday.
Bowlers have done very well. Need to finish this off without giving too many runs away.
Yeah they (England) have a couple of concerns for me -
1. Not 100% confident in their ability in defending a score. They did fairly well in containing New Zealand the other day in defending a lower score of 310, but overall the bowling isn't the best and they are missing their best death bowler in Woakes.
2. The ability to handle pressure, India have a team that all plays IPL and England have a history of being the biggest chokers not named South Africa. For once though they have just one player born in South Africa in Jason Roy. Still the recent memories of the last T20 World Cup and the ICC trophy are still fresh in the mind.

Was expecting Sri Lanka to not even get 200. They still have 2 wickets here and almost at 220 with less than 4 overs left. Didnt think that would happen.

Excellent effort from the bowlers. Maybe 20 runs too many given the situation but I'd have taken that score at the start of the match.

I think we needed to get them out for less, am slightly worried now.. think its going to be really tight, and would probably bet on a Pakistan collapse. Please please don't come to fruition.
