Would be a bit weird if he was responding to the fans/media. Every team has their spastic fans, given the way most of the sri lanka team mentioned it, I think it either came from a current or ex player involved with the side.

Stupidity. Australia, New Zealand and India all trying to push as many all rounders as possible into their XI. This approach might work in T20s (Windies) but not in ODIs. Most all rounders are jack of all trades but master of none. Your top 5 should be your five best batsmen and your 8-11 should be your four frontline bowlers.
England were also guilty of this 'oh look, we bat to number 11 with Willey and Jordan' approach for a while but seem to have realised having a couple of front line bowlers is more important than having 10 and 11 with first class centuries.

we are still very beatable. Teams haven't scored enough yet against our relatively average bowling attack. An India or a SA making 350 and it would be a very difficult chase.
