ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Good effort from Miller (and Rabada) to get them to 219.

Pakistan bowled & fielded a lot better today. Hassan probably should've bowled out, his spell in the middle overs was excellent.

Will be a tricky chase this but if we can't get 220 then we deserve to be dumped out.

Yeah was a much much better bowling effort for you today. Will be the batting standup though, cuz it's going to be fiery

I expect us to slump to 204-10 or something like that. Just enough runs for them to shamelessly hide behind "oh it was so unlucky" as opposed to "we are incredibly unprofessional and our performances on the pitch reflect that".

This fakhar guy is the opposite of Ahmed Shehzad. Tbf Shehzad was the same when he started too iirc?

Pakistan need to win this one to make the rest of the week exciting.

Rain ruining another game. Forecast for rain in Birmingham for pretty much every day over the next week too. Stupid British weather ruining the tournament.

Match abandoned. Pakistan win :)

If SL can pull off an upset against India, would make the last games in the group quarter finals (subject to rain!)

SA  They would steamroll this team every day of the week in any bilateral series. Put the game in an ICC event context and they completely buckle under pressure. Absolute chokers.

Knowing Pak they'll feck up vs SL anyway so SA will probably be saved from a complete embarrassment.

Need a SL victory so the final two games in this group become crackers.

Mathews and Pereira are back so they should be stronger batting unit

Can somebody tell Ganguly it's "Shikhar" and not "Shekhar"

Yeah the wickets in hand only count for the team batting which will be Sri Lanka since India have batted the full 50 overs. Unless you were just playing on your username there.

We should rethink our approach at the top. I'm not sure sure batting with so much caution is necessary and might cost us against the better teams

We weren't too cautious though? We were scoring at around 5 rpo by 20th over with no wickets gone by which is a good start

Yeah i agree. It's a waste of resources being so cautious coming out. Make use of that first power play, and make use of the fact India bat deep as feck.

Yeah it makes little sense when we've got decent batsmen till the last 2.

The openers are both offensively minded as well. Why ask both of them to curb their instincts?

Anyhow they're both playing into good form, so it's all good
