Ronaldinho Ibrahimovic Pato
Ambrosini Pirlo Boateng
Antonini T.Silva Nesta Papastathopoulos
Amelia
I didn't then and I still don't understand the Ibra-Eto'o switch. Did Eto'o want out?
If they played Flamini instead of Ambrosini, that would be quite decent. They need to look for a replacement for Pirlo soon enough though.
None of these have played at anything remotely resembling a "high level" for a while now.Flamini, Gattuso and Ambrosini can all play at a high level still. Use the one/ones that are in top shape.

Why? Pirlo is only 31, we still use Giggs at the age of 36? (not too many months left before he goes 37), Giggs is still among the top 10 playmakers in the world today.
I bet players will go closer and closer to 40 the next 5-10 years. Clubs are far better at stretching out after training and matches and players are going to get older than the ones getting old in the nineties. In American sports such as NFL, NHL it is a lot more regular for players to go into their forties. I think we might be following them.
And by the way, when you criticizes Milan for old ages, don't forget the co-ownership deals, they co-own several younger regulair Serie A players. It seems likeo they own Genoa as they could loan Boateng the secnd they got him, and despite Abbiati playing today, I bet Amelia will get he goalkeeping spot.
Hat-trick in half an hour, lovely third. 29 goals and 10 assists in 34 starts this season, not bad at all.
I don't understand pple not rating him saying he's a big game bottler and all that, he's a superb footballer. Exqusite ball control as well, i would say better than Berbatov/Messi/Iniesta
They say it because he quite often is a big game bottler. Sometimes he'll perform in the big games, but often he does go missing in them and it's not really a myth.
A more accurate description would be that he struggles against top quality defenders who can cope with him. Obviously, most of them play for bigger teams. As a player, he's a bully. He relies on his power and presence to rip apart opposition defences. Once he meets a defender who can match his power and presence though, he suddenly becomes very limited as a player.
You clearly haven't watched enough of him then. It's as if you're describing Kenwyne Jones
I'm not saying that he can't ever rip apart good defenders, but there's no doubt that quality defenders are able to handle him a lot easier than most can, and that they can limit him.
You don't say...
I'm sorry for the mean and cheap sarcasm but don't you think it makes sense that he'd find it harder against better defenders ?
He performs for them alsoWhat about playing for his country ???
I get you now.I think he only truly hasn't performed in the big CL matches. In Italy he's done it time and time again, against the best teams.
