Am I content with the possibility to qualify for the champions League knockout stages with a draw next week (despite most people not giving us a chance in the group) ? YES
Am I content that we now have the best points total in the premier League across the last 40 games? YES
Clear progress has been made, the squad and manager are together and the best part, there's much more to come from this team.

It’s finally looking like our financial advantage is starting to pay off. Not many clubs can afford to sit Pogba out for a few weeks or sub Cavani at half time. We need to be a lot more aggressive in our play though.better teams would have finished us off and picked us off on the break the last 2 games
I’ve no idea. Today shows exactly what the limitations of our team is. Even when we were playing well today it wasn’t because we were well drilled or playing good football, it was individual brilliance. Without Bruno, we lose that game. It’s pretty shocking how dependent we are on one player.
Turned it around in the 2nd half and if we play as well as we did in the last 30 minutes, I'd definitely be content with it.
Worrying how we are over reliant on Bruno though. Pretty much playing two games every week and need other players to step up and not wait for him to keep bailing us out.

it’s class but it would be nice to see us win a few of these winnable games without the inevitable heart attack and half time inquest. We have the players. Selections aren’t panning out but he’s getting it right in the end. I understand you have to rotate but I’m certain he has no clue what his best 11 is anymore

Has people forgotten completely that United very often had quite boring, subdued matches after CL games even with fergie? I used to dread matches, especially away matches, that came right after CL games. Not sure if we lost more, but we struggled more at least and i distinctly remember we selsom played sparkling football. And it’s not very strange is it? Playing matches with so few days rest is taxing. Also, it meant rotation, which fergie was excellent at. Typically it also meant the quality of the squad took a hit, just like today. It’s not so dissimmilar.
At the same time, it feels strange this united team. We’re just 2 point off the top, and still it feels like we could do so, so much better. I feel like that, and the fact we actually manage to turn around matches like today, is what gives people (inc me) hope and something that shows Ole has improved this team a lot.

Maybe it’s just me, but that’s how I felt. It was very poor for a while in that game, but we did "do to West Ham what they did to us" in the final 30 mins, where Rashford had 2 clear cut chances on top of the 3 goals.
To be honest i am more curious how we can ask to sack a manager two point off the top mid-season.

United didn't play well at all the first half....but United and Ole out played West Ham the second half by far. West Ham dropped off about 10 yards and stopped closing down and allowed United to play through the middle, which wasn't the case in the first half.
In Mourinho's second season, United were extremely functional and kept matches tight to keep them in it and then nick the odd goal or two. It a was slog and hard to repeat year over year.
This isn't anything similar to Mourinho's second year thus far. The only thing that is similar is that they didn't completely kick on from the previous season in terms of a summer transfer window to really take that next step, to close the gap to the 2nd and 1st positions. Ole's team fell flat on their face to begin the season and now they are very much in the thick of it after 10 league matches. CL is still in the balance, but they've given themselves a proper chance considering their group.
So while nobody is content because we want to see United be back on top of the league, the team is doing better and can only improve with more consistency and better play.

I'm not content, I'm just hoping for more. It's a constant battle right now; let's hope we can find some real momentum soon and build from there. If we can't do that, Ole must be replaced. He's had time to settle in; now he must produce the goods. We must see real progress.

I watched United win titles playing much like this, in the good old days of the CAF being peeved at 'zombie football'. I can be very content if we're crap but still score two or three times and win.

I'm generally quite negative about United these days but coming back from behind to win a game we usually feck up in similar circumstances, you have to be buzzing surely.

Some people will never be happy. I will take this over the West Brom game any day. Sure, West Ham were much better than us in the first half and probably should have been up 2 or 3. But they weren't. But in the second half we were much better and could have easily scored more. We deserved to win. It's like some people have such a huge agenda against Ole that they are now upset when we win. WTF people???
It feels like Mourinho's 2nd season, insofar that I can't quite believe where we are in the table based on our performances. My hope hangs on the fact we didn't have a preseason and a lot of our best players are in bad form. Bruno is back to his best now and Rashford looks better, hopefully Martial, Pogba, Matic, Greenwood et al. can step up and we can start showing our post-lockdown performances.

Thought I heard the comentator say that West Ham had the second best home record of the season prior to today (only behind Liverpool).
They've also drawn to City & Spurs this season, smashed Leicester and Wolves, but we're moaning winning 3-1.

People can cite stats, table position or whatever they want, what we are doing is not sustainable. Ole does not seem to be able to consistently motivate the team at all, and regardless of the fact that some of our quality players pull us out of a hole on a regular basis, we are nowhere near where we should be, for the money spent.
