How can anyone have watched this game and walked away thinking "we're going places"? Two years in charge in a few days for Ole and we've still no style of play. To be outplayed by David fecking Moyes of all people managing an average West Ham squad is not a sign of progress. Is this what people wanted when Mourinho was sacked?

We turned up for 15 minutes today and we're fortunate that we're in a position to spend money that teams like West Ham can't. Even Gary Neville was questioning the performance. That wasn't acceptable in any way for a Manchester United team. Its costs us before and it'll cost us again. This is eerily similar to Mourinhos second season. We were winning even when things didn't look right and we know how that ended.

Oh boy you're gonna get heat for this.

But yeah, we were absolute shite for 60 minutes and that should not be overlooked.

Great result but I dont think Ole is good enough.

I'm content with this because I'm not a pathetic sad cnut with a fundamental need to be unhappy and angry at something I have no control over just so I don't have to face my own life.

Celebrate the win and being 2 points off the top ffs.
I defeat in the league since the Spurs loss.

Over 10 months we have the best form in the premier League and made 3 semis in oles only season

Nobody is saying it is perfect

Results and other positives are there though

Covid football isn’t the same.

Wake up, get a grip and ask for this thread to be closed.

Enjoy a win..real fans. We won!

Yeah we don't always dominate teams and they aren't scared of us from the off. We're often a bit reactive and rarely in the driving seat of games unless we need to be.

However, it's getting results and it is what it is for the time-being and at least we won today which is a nice positive on a bad performance mid-week.

Can’t always play well For 90 min straight. West ham is a good home team, and we rested our two best in form players. Why the negativitet after that brute second half ?

Not content with a victory? Better give up watching sports then if that doesn’t give you some satisfaction. Excellent last half hour by the team.

We play shite and lose, Ole gets stick

We play shite and win, Ole gets stick

We play well and lose, Ole gets stick

We play well and win, the 'individual brilliance of the players' is bailing Ole out...

I am. If anything today was a SAF United performance.

I'm buzzing right now.

Definitely not content with this, and it's appalling the number of United (pro Ole) fans gloating right now. No United fan should be happy with our incredibly inconsistent performance level that seems to rely on individual brilliance rather than us looking like a well coached team.

I could certainly see improvement due but it is what it is until we get another manager with a different style (not meaning ole out; more a reality tbh).
Teams shit themselves when we kick into gear, hence the away and comeback record.
We have the best record in the league since Bruno signed. This is todays football

My god. Have a lie down and wake up realising we just had a good win in the end!

7 away league wins this season is not only about luck, and luck is no coincidence 7 league games on row. Go troll somewhere else !

Winning games that we play badly in. I'm fecking made up mate.

We showed good form in 2017/18 and we didn't like it then. Rightly so.

It doesn't need to be perfect but it was tragic for so long.

Why is it that we can't do to West Ham what they did to us?

Welcome to the Caf, where a large proportion of our 'fans' are not happy win, lose or draw.

How can anyone be happy with constantly winning games scoring a lot of goals and the best form in the league over the last year?

Baffles me as well.

I would really hate to be your sort of fan. Go and watch rugby or something.

4th and 2 points off top. Fecking hell, you make this thread so soon after winning and gaining ground in the table. Baffles me how some people say they are fans, never happy and always looking to bash Ole. Pathetic.

So, if we keep playing this non-existent style of football and get results to keep us in the title race till the end of the season, big if I know, then will it be ok then to be content?

Why dont people ever think positive. We played shite in the first half and was good enough to adapt and make a better gameplan for the second half.

I think it's really a good thing the players can react like this for a shite first half by going all out in second one. It's a positive thing for sure, so yeah I'm content with today and Southampton. Maybe not content with Ole overall but today and Southampton games were great reaction from players.

We need to sort our slow start in games and more importantly sort our home form. Our away form I have no complaints, it's fantastic.

We had the chances to out psg one of the best teams in the world away a couple of days ago and ended up losing it... That what you mean

Because we can see the potential, and the positives. This team has done great things, and can continue to do great things. It’s a matter of refining what we have, adding a couple more players. We no longer need to uproot the whole squad, which is wonderful. We are 100% making progress, but it’s not a linear path.

There's a positive in all this. Look at the quality we have. Look how much, when we're on it, we can absolutely blaze teams, including PSG.

I'm not. Ole isn't good enough but we have players with good potential that can do things even with a clueless manager at the helm

Seen plenty of games down the years when we’ve played shite and won and we’ve played well and lost. Great comeback against a difficult in form team, 9 away wins in a row, 2 points off the top after a poor start and big game coming up in the Champions League. I’m quite happy with where we are going.

I remember the days when watching us play used to be fun.
It still is and if you can't remember games under Fergie where we were playing bad, losing and came back to win then you need to review things. I've had more fun supporting Ole's United than I have under any manager post Fergie.
