Television House of the Dragon (GoT Prequel) - No book spoilers allowed

Why the actual feck would you not put a warning that that’s a book spoiler?

What the feck are you on about? I was referring to the first couple episodes which is what the person I thought was referring to

I haven't even read the fecking books

No, you're right on and that's what I'm referencing...as the comment you pointed out was from my reaction to someone say that "it's not realistic enough"

Princess Rhaenyra's mother, had a few miscarraiges and obviously died from giving birth. So for the person saying it's not realistic enough about having sex then boom you're preggo, is way off the mark. And then with this apparent morning after drink/pill/potion for Rhaenyra, it's even more interesting. Is it really from the King or the King's former hand? Was this potion given to Rhaenyra's mother many times before, thus her miscarragies or issues having a child/son?

People calling theories and facts about the show spoilers? Wtf are you all smoking? Might aswell just close the thread as there's always someone who thinks every post is a spoiler.

Was the First guy on the throne room to speak to Rey Beric Dondarrion. The same guy in GoT? Just the subtitles came up with that name.

What about all the spoilers from GoT or weren't some of you paying attention?
I'm sorry but if you guys didn't know all the motherfecking dragons died.

This show is not realistic enough. Every time a couple copulate, it results in a pregnancy. I for one, would appreciate seeing the hundreds of attempts it can actually take before the sperm does it's thing
There are many solutions to what you're looking for

Wow, now it’s really kicking into gear. It is fantastic.

And they’re shaping the next episode into being another big one, it seems.

That episode was SENSATIONAL! The tension building in the last 10 mins was peak GoT. You can tell GRRM had his hands all over this.

Great episode, all starting to kick off now. Not sure why Sir Criston decided to turn the groom's bf's face into paper mache, but all for bringing back good ole GoT violence. Club-footed guy is one of the more interesting characters, definitely feels like a Littlefinger type

The action scenes with Matt Smith really let this down imo.

We had the stormtrooper aim and Rambo scene before, now we have the Horse whisperer outsmarting the hunter woman who spends her life on that horse

Other than that decent episode

I didn't get that either. I hope he had a backup plan if that didn't work.

What an incredible example of how to build tension. Sensational stuff, the music for the dancing was spot on.

Can someone explain why the scuffle happened during the dance? I thought for a minute Allicent had ordered guards to storm the feast and take Rhaenyra for questioning and then suddenly Criston is smashing that dudes face like a watermelon...

Don’t think Sir Criston appreciated what the boyfriend said to him and took that as being blackmailed. A little disappointing to see Sir Criston losing his shit like that as he comes across as being really thick

Not thick, just cnut-struck, as the guy who had a face said.

Pretty sure Criston actually attacked Laenor Velaryon first and Ser Lonmouth stepped in to protect his lover and thus got bastered by Criston

Not sure if I should be spoilering the latest episode but

Confessing to Alicent was absolutely thick as well as cnut-struck. She was only asking about hearing a rumor and even if Criston didn't know she was talking about Daemon, she clearly didn't know anything for sure at that point.

Yup, plus to see him go ape-shit within minutes at an event where he’s on official duty was just daft. Up until this episode, Criston seemed to have more self-control… completely outta character
