Just about to post the exact same thing. Brilliant.
Really was brilliant.
Taub and Foreman lying high on the floor and 'fighting' afterwards was epic.
Thinking of starting this. Just how good is this show? Can it be compared to stuff like The Wire, Sopranos, Shield, Dexter?
It's brilliant. Might seem a bit static at first but once you get into this you realize that every episode is just brilliant. Mixes humour with tragedy in a fantastic way.
Best episode of an otherwise underwhelming season I think.

I don't know if it's an underwhelming season. I'm just having trouble getting used to the tons of breaks during the season, which seem to be getting worse every year (for all series). It really is tough, especially having watched the previous seasons all within a few weeks.
Yeah, agreed. There's no break anymore from now until the end of the season, though.

Hugh Laurie suits the role perfectly and he's a bit like Sherlock Holmes in the way he solves some of the cases, some of his humour is absolutely hilarious aswell

Definitely worth watching. The writing really is top quality. It doesn't have a particularly gripping concept, but the character of House is one of the best in any show. The series goes from strength to strength and has just the right blend of comedy and drama, and at times the writing can be quite ethically and philosophically interesting, there's nothing quite like House's musings on life in any other show.

I fecking love it when they change it up in some way from the usual 'patient-has-a-peculiar-disease,' best show on TV by a mile.
They seem to have done it more this season. This weeks episode, the one focusing on Wilson, the one focusing on Cuddy...

When will the next season begin, any ideas ?
This season has been right up there with the usual high House standards, but I really want a powerful finale like there was in season 5 and especially in season 4.
Am I the only one who thinks the show is actually getting steadily worse? The storyline's are getting increasingly repetitive with preachy undertones to a lot of them. Even in terms of humour I don't think I've laughed that much compared to previous seasons. This whole "Taub cheating on his wife" storyline is bollocks too, I honestly couldn't care less about his character, where as House hasn't really gone through anything drastic yet this season (Barring the opener, but since then it's same old, same old).
Hoping for a House-Cuddy-13 relationship sometime in the future. 
This season started brilliantly, but mid-season it slowed down significantly, possibly because of the increasingly sporadic episodes. Improving again now though.
I think there were some poor episodes this season but this week's was really good. And yeah taub's storyline is getting weak but 13 just keeps getting better.

Considering how repetitive the main formula is, you'd think the show would've grown really old by now, but the fact that it hasn't deteriorated that much says a lot. And yes Taub's storyline is weak but watching the rest of the team make fun of him always cracks me up.
