Praying for an announcement from the club tomorrow! Then on to the Pogba thread. It's understandable that they haven't announced it yet because of Zlatan's arrival on Saturday and Giggs' departure earlier today. There are some rumours Jose will be officially unveiled to the press Tuesday so I would expect Mkhitaryan's announcement to come either tomorrow or Monday, hopefully.

The upgrade we have been looking for. I think he will have a great season. Very shrewd player that opposing midfielders and defenders will struggle to contain. Hopefully by the time they figure him out we will have a healthy points advantage over our rivals.

They probably didn't do it yesterday because of the Giggs announcement so probably today or tomorrow.

I would keep herrera, who for me should be played in Rooney's position, considering herrera is younger more energetic, and oh yes much better technical on the ball especially with his distribution with the ball if herrera is played closer to zlaten, he could be perfect finding zlaten with the through balls.

What do you mean? He played mostly on the right for Dortmund. He seems to be able to play all 3 attacking midfield positions.
What i read he was not that good on the right the two seasons before last and only good last year from the left and through the middle

I don't quite get this. Man utd under mourinho are quite obviously expected to reach top 4, so one season without it wouldn't affect his long term decision to move clubs. Especially when his current one just sold their best midfielder and centre back amongst various others in previous seasons.
Moreover, Man Utd is still an infectious, glowing club for him given our history is more recent. Liverpool is a big club but one he'd relate less to given their glory years were probably in his father's generation more than his.
Glad we have this one wrapped up it seems. Really have to laugh at Dortmunt statement though, seems selling there better players every window is starting to wear thin for them.

He was under klopp in those seasons and klopp plays a low possession, fast breaking style. The fact that Mkhitaryan did better under tuschel in a side with far more possession is surely a good thing for us.
He played mainly on the right last season and thats where he was excellent, look the stats up.

I also don't see how his situation changes no matter what happens. Unless the girl dies suddenly lying and he feels regret over not sending the letters? Well i dont think we are slow to announce it, we just havent finished everything.
United won't announce it until he's done his medical, signed the contract, and all photos/videos are ready to launch.
