I would have thought even Mikhi's biggest fans would work out that a game against one of the best teams on form in the league right now would not be the right game to have him involved when the fact he hasnt played for Utd in ages is taken into account. It simply wouldnt be fair on him or even sensible.

Bizarre thing is that most of our wide options are poor currently. Mata is playing well, but Rashford, Martial and Memphis are three players who all do want to do the same thing, but are currently not successful at it. We've even got a fourth right-footed left-sided forward in Young!

Probably true but I also think the press and fans are over playing it. I think Mou is being cautious rather than malicious. He sees the value in brining Mkhi up to speed gradually and having him get up to speed for the run in and next year.
Something that might play a role here is that it has been reported that Mourinho wanted more players, so maybe Mkhi was part of a plan that Mourinho can't accomplish for the moment. Or he doesn't rate him.
Mourinho said at the start of the season that he had identified the positions that needed filling before he was installed as manager, and gave a few options to the board for each position he needed filling. Mourinho said this on multiple occasions; that he was delighted with the business we did and that it met his expectations. No idea what the issue is but I don't think it's because Miki wasn't his choice.
