The Brun also claimed that Sanches was offered to us, but we declined him, since we hadn't scouted him.
He's a fat clueless numpty with a twitter account.

He isnt clueless he has contacts in the game and has regular United players and personnel on his talk show in the US.
He had a lot of assists. And he was playing really well, contributing to the team winning games.
When Suaez, Bale or Modric had such a dreadful game as Mkhitaryan against City?
I'm just one Dortmund fan but can share what my BVB mates are saying; needless to say that we're not necessarily representative of all BVB fans. What are the Dortmund fans saying about all this?
Then why the feck is his twitter account full of fecking bullshit then ?
With players afforded more time and space in the more technical German league, those arriving from the Bundesliga are often taken aback by the greater physicality in England and requirement to tackle and win personal duels with an opposite number.
The ability of a player has no correlation with whether they would take their first chance. that is absurd reasoning. Does that mean that Rashford is better than Silva? Many players take more than ONE GAME to show what they can do. It isn't a football trial. Look how many games Pogba has disappointed yet he gets picked over and over again. same with ZlatanHe will have more chances. But if he would have been really top player, a best in Bundesliga or whatever, he would have taken this first chance.
I think the article talks about previous coaches, LvG's. Nothing article as usual. If our coaches really did have "doubts" then perhaps we need new coaches. They clearly aren't the best judge of a player.
Feck that. Sounds like absolute garbage to me. Unable to cope with the physical demands? Not only has he only played about 60 minutes of football for us, he came from one of the most intense sides in Europe!
One thing is for sure, he hasn't impressed at all in training. To be uninjured but not even make the squad tells you everything. He might need a special way of motivating to get the right intensity from him.Pilib de Brun said Jose has not been impressed with his attitude towards his rehabilitation from injury.
Coming to the conclusion Jose just doesn't fancy him...sad really, hasn't even been given a run.
But despite being fully-fit for over a week
During his time in Dortmund his biggest problem was his mentality. He is extremely sensitive and he puts a lot of pressure on himself. He starts to overthink things when he doesn’t perform, which holds him back.
It is important to remember that Dortmund is a great environment for players. They have a functional team and the club/fans/manager put a lot of trust in everyone. There are few public fall-outs and everyone is incredibly patient.
I have no doubt about his ability and workrate. The question is, can he handle Mourinho and the media. I almost hope, that his absence is down to physical problems/injuries. I don’t want to know what would be going on in his head, if he is fit and still can’t get into the team….he is not the kind of player who can deal with that….
Players like that need to be thrown in the deep end and cuddled until they start producing the goods. Else we might as well sell them.
Considering that he seems to be his biggest critic, he certainly doesn’t need a manager who confirms this feeling, because it would just further paralyze him. So I agree.
Than what was the point in buying him?
Can't see him playing against City, not unless he's a sub. Seems like Mourinho really took a disliking to him after that game for some reason. I know he was bad but Lingard was worse, very strange.
Perhaps he completely ignored his instructions.
Discussing with a colleague at work whe reckons he read that this deal was already in place before Jose was appointed.
Hearsay really, so speculation
If he does need to be comforted and assured, is it so bad to do that? If we get him playing well he could be a useful asset to us, why not tell him he's a good boy and give him a scratch behind the ears?
The gullible internet herd behavior sheep seem to be at it again, this time its Mkhitarian.
No but it means we should never have signed him if it's true. His confidence issues were well known and obvious when he was at Dortmund.
