Can he play centre back?
He had a chance against City and was the worst player on the pitch.Mkhitaryan, a POTY in the bundesliga who put in consistently top class performances can't get ahead of...
So was Lingard. And he was returning from injury. He had a chance against City and was the worst player on the pitch.
So it's not that clear-cut really.
True, which means Mkhitaryan is not really any better. So was Lingard.
If he doesn't feature against City, I might start worrying for real.
If United only gave 1 chance to each player, some of our besties wouldn't have gone on to become legends. I guess this is the same level of "chance" De Bruyne got before h3 fecked off and proved he was world class in GermanyHe had a chance against City and was the worst player on the pitch.

Home against City, hardly an introduction game (just like his first start showed). As a sub he'll probably be there. My worry would come in after the burnley game if he isn't there. If he doesn't feature against City, I might start worrying for real.
He will have more chances. But if he would have been really top player, a best in Bundesliga or whatever, he would have taken this first chance. If United only gave 1 chance to each player, some of our besties wouldn't have gone on to become legends. Part of me thinks this too, but there's no denying that he was very, very good in Germany. At his best, he's one of the most creative players around. However, I'm not so sure he is our saviour. He did play well against Hull for 20 min, but I suspect this is an instance of thinking whatever alternative we have must be better because our current choice was disappointing.
I'm sad to see that he hasn't gotten a lot of opportunities this season, but it looks like a fitness issue from the outside. Hopefully he'll get some time against City or Burnley.

I think having him and Martial taking over from Rashford + Lingard will result in us being so much better offensively. I think Mourinho is just wanting them both to be completely match fit before throwing them in. He's always had a great injury record with his squad and I'm assuming this is the kind of approach which resulted in that.Part of me thinks this too, but there's no denying that he was very, very good in Germany. I'm not necessarily saying he's our saviour but he's someone Jose highlighted we needed in the summer.
Exactly, so he really has to start getting some minutes on the pitch, especially if what we're led to believe is that he's no longer injured. Not a chance. He was the best player in the Bundesliga last year, he's not fcuking Bebe.
He's new to the league, it takes time to adjust. You can't give someone a start against the team probably going to win the league and then say well that was your only chance and you blew it.He had a chance against City and was the worst player on the pitch.
So it's not that clear-cut really.
Oh do feck off with that nonsense, so by that logic you expect Mourinho to bench the 8 players that clearly let us down yesterday since they fecked up their one chance? He will have more chances. But if he would have been really top player, a best in Bundesliga or whatever, he would have taken this first chance.

Lingard, Young.
Let that sink in.
No wonder why we are so shit we only like to force average players into the team.
If he doesn't get anything in against Burnley then we are shooting ourselves in the foot, and the man to blame for that is Mourinho.
What a shitstorm
It's not even been created by anyone else, it's our own fecking undoing.
So is Miki not fully fit and that's why Jose is leaving him out of the squad? Or is it something else? I hope it's just because Mourinho believes he's not fit enough to play yet and he's going to ease him back in. Can't wait for Miki to get back in the side, he has the ability to turn our season around and become one of our key players.
Nearly November and this guy has featured twice ffs
Mourinho hasn't a clue what he's at
