I'm fine with De Gea for now but his refusal to come off his line can cause problems.

Massively overrated on here by a few. Don’t know if any PL clubs are searching for a number one, but he could be a decent mid table to bottom half keeper. I think we should have sold him when his value was highest a few years ago. I don’t know how many other clubs would value him as high as we do, certainly not the clubs who would be interested in his services.
Shot stopping is still and will be always main value for gk. When Henderson saved something big in our shirt? When he bailed us out with some big save?
Every decent shot is goal. His positioning and reflexes are average. He is "vocal" and he "organises" defence are rubbish arguments made by people who are desperate for him to be our no1.

Nope. Wrong. With Henderson defence is so much better so opposition don't have shots on goal. As i understand it; he is so vocal and good in organisation of defence which stops opposition shots.

I would say Henderson isbetter at communicating and talking to/steering the defence and maybe slightly better in the air, but Ddg is by far the better shot stopper.

I expressed my opinion based on my very own observation over the past few seasons.
The only time i have noticed ddg talking to the defenders is when they have made a mistake and he shouts at them or after he has made an amazing save and they all high five.
as far as i am aware there are no stats measuring communication.
and by the way, who was the guy who once started the myth?
Yeah a goalkeeper who just saves goals? No “Modern” team or manager needs those. Can he play a key through ball from Old Trafford to Munich, or run off his line to press the other team’s goal keeper? Thats what really counts !
It's absolutely shocking that even when De Gea puts in superhuman performances like this, he's bound to cop flak for not coming off his line and 'creating' the goalscoring opportunities for the opposition in the first place. He was world class today and played at a level that Henderson has not shown in his career.
