We really are leaving this one dangerously late.
We are desperate but not that desperate.Deli Ali was a player that Fergie said was a United player. He'd be fairly cheap and we need the bodies, as long as he's not a dick off the field it's worth a punt
There's still a player there under the right managementWe are desperate but not that desperate.
The Everton reject? Where would he even play?Deli Ali was a player that Fergie said was a United player. He'd be fairly cheap and we need the bodies, as long as he's not a dick off the field it's worth a punt
That’s what they said when Pochettino was fired. Since then he’s been under what three different managers? He’s cooked and that’s unfortunately the fear I also have with Rashford and why we need to seriously consider ripping PSG off if they offer 60M.There's still a player there under the right management

We not buying anyone, don’t get your hopes up
Given Dave’s lamentable performance v Brentford, that might be the single most useful signingReserve Goalkeeper..!!
Give your head a wobble for feck sake.Deli Ali was a player that Fergie said was a United player. He'd be fairly cheap and we need the bodies, as long as he's not a dick off the field it's worth a punt
Seriously? Absolutely not the sort of player we should even entertain of brining in. We are stacked in the ACM / 10 position anyway. Madness. There's still a player there under the right management
Seems easy to judge from here, by not being there. When a majority of players are in contract with clubs and some have already made their extensions, it's not easy to deal with the transfer market. The club is aware of its strategy and limits, they are not a money machine. All this talk rumours sources etc, are full of shit, UTD won't sign another player imo from now on.
The clubs owners have bent ETH over and shafted him right up the ass.
All these players mentioned From Felix to Casimero FFS are you lot kidding me it's bollocks. They couldn't get A. Rabiot because of his wage demands apparently. Expect a season of mid to low finish . If higher ETH needs to be knighted .. feck off Glazers
I will and you will if anyone else comes through the door with quality for the 1st team squad I will be ecstatic, but I'm not holding my breath.Seems easy to judge from here, by not being there. Let us wait till the end of this transfer window.
But this should already have been done. And I question that there even is a reset when Murtough and Fletcher with limited experience are still there and the same old story of dithering remains. Make no mistake, the only changes that qualify as reset is the Glazers gone. You can have the best men (and we don't) in place and if we push and push and Glazer doesn't press the 'yes' button we end up in this continual arduous merry-go-round of nothingness. We have wasted time since November, when we fired Ole. Instead of getting in Conte and reset then, and then forward plan... we dilly dally around and here we are... nowhere. As ever. We will (hopefully) get people in the door. But it will be painful, as ever, and it won't close gap on other rival clubs who have already done business. I mean, even Villa are way ahead of us.
I mean if you think like that you may as well give up!
First come to the realisation that the glazers aren’t leaving through us moaning on forum boards. They will leave when they leave. Or ironically when the investment stops paying off, which would be if we continue to fail for a number of years. The irony.
so in the advent of them not leaving. This is a reset. New coach. 2 DoFs. I don’t include Fletcher in that because you’ve inferred he’s a DoF when his job is nothing of the sort.Anyways there are numerous threads on that already.
Experienced coaching staff. New scouting system. Old heads out the door. Released a bunch of players that many fans wanted gone
numerous examples of people promoted to DoF with little experience and going on to be successful.
have some patience
Let's hope we can get another midfielder after Casemiro and a RW/ST until transfer window closes. We're desperate for players and can't believe we're again being reactive after couple of losses, instead of being proactive back in June/July.
No more signings then..
crisis over
This week has been awfully quiet.
Looking more and more likely we won't get a partner for Casemiro.
So… how do we feel about things? We added Casemiro, and will be adding another striker it seems. If we add Antony, I would put us at an 8/10, would’ve been 10/10 if we had all the deals done before preseason, but really hard to complain now, especially with the addition of Casemiro.
It's hard to say really, and depends on who ETH had put as top priority before the window opened. With or without Casemiro, the FDJ saga was pretty embarrassing for the club and I think it's fair to say that meant we were starting the season behind our rivals.
We have only sold one player this window, we've not addressed the RB issue, have no backup goalkeeper of note, and will not be adding a striker. Antony isn't that player. All these things are pretty shocking coming off the back of our worst season in many fans' living memory.
I think it's been a shambles of a window to be honest, indicative of club mismanagement and lack of ambition/cohesion. If it wasn't for the bids to oust our lecherous owners, we wouldn't have signed Casemiro and we certainly wouldn't be looking to bring in Antony.
