Best England player tonight.
He was their best playerHow did he play well?
Serious questions.
A game like this you need your defenders to squeeze up and take risks. Just sitting back and heading the ball is standard.

Games like this suit him. He isn't going to come back and be a better player for us. Hopefully these performances deceive someone to take him off our hands
I dont like him playing simply because it stops you doing that; but he did what was asked of him and the game did suit him. He had to do his job though, and he did it better than anyone tonight. How did he play well?

5 minutes later "Why the feck is Harry so far up the pitch. You can't take risks like that"...
No argumentI gave him a lot of stick for his performance against Iran, but he was outstanding today. Arguably England's best player. Read everything, headed away everything, was ok in possession, looked confident. Well done.
it's between million and billion, it's my own currency I use for overrated SlabheadsBilion
What is that worth??
A decent amount for a decent player then.....makes sense to me.it's between million and billion, it's my own currency I use for overrated Slabheads
What kinda asinine argument is this? No one is saying he was great for United this season because he played well today for England. Everyone is just judging this particular performance, the whole point of this thread. His performances for England are irrelevant. I miss the days where United fans judged United players on United performances & didn’t give a damn what they did nationally.
In the grand scheme I’m happy he’s playing well but we’ve seen for what? 4 years that his international form doesn’t translate to his club form.
Asinine would be getting upset over an accusation you’ve concocted in your head. Who said people were saying that? What kinda asinine argument is this? Him playing well today for England, as he often does, is irrelevant to how he has performed at club level really shouldn’t make you so upset.
I’d listen to this argument had this forum not been littered with many a Rashford thread where far worse is said the second he misses a shot. It’s always illuminating the hills posters chose to die on & who for.I can see why they thought that given your immediate response to him playing well for England was to dismiss it and say United fans shouldn't care. Someone pointing out that a United player did well for England isn't some sort of a flaw.
He's always good for England. They don't try to play higher than he's capable of, and he's a far more dominant presence in the box than Stones so he takes responsibility. It shows he's a decent fit somewhere at a high level, he is just not cut out for Ten Hag football.
I enjoy it when he does well tbh, the scale of the abuse/ridicule towards him is unprecedented for such a relatively low key player
