First it was '' He needs a better partner''
Then it was the Mykonos Incident
Now it's that he's unfit.
Maybe, just maybe he's an overrated dogshite of a player?

Our captain lacking authority to deal with the situation with Shaw resulting in a goal. He's far too soft and lackadaisical.

Awful all season, so many goals are his fault and yet gets picked no matter what. Seems to fall apart so easily, joke of a captain. Only comes out for interviews after we win too.

Next manager will have to sort this mess out too.

Poor performance. Bailly in for him, if we dont trust him then sell him and buy a new CB (one who can stay fit this time) to give him competition

Why is he always, always getting sucked into shite positions?

Perfect man to captain such shower of shit I have seen today. An embarrassment of a captain for an embarrassment result.

This season he has been absolutely fecking disgustingly bad.

Whoever the next manager is needs to come in, take the armband off him and stick him on the bench.

This guy has not improved our defence one bit, we looked better under Smalling + Blind but people arent ready for that conversation.

Shocking captain and player.

Clown.

One of the worst centre backs I've seen at United in 40 odd years watching United.

Incredible we've gone from the likes of Robson, Bruce, Cantona, Keane to players like Ashley Young and Maguire wearing the armband.

Worst player in the team, worst CB in the squad. Makes a mistake that costs us a goal almost every game.

The likes of Smalling, Rojo, Bailly made a couple of mistakes a season and get absolutely slated. Yet Maguire is consistently crap and he gets away with it. He's in the team purely based on some sort of personality and influence he has on the manager and the dressing room, yet we never see any positive influence from him as a captain on the pitch.

The guy is literally crap at football. Worst signing in United's history.

Horrific performance that we will be talking about for years. Think we'll be back in the market again next summer for another centreback. Again.

So fecking bad that he's making Lindelof look like the composed rock at the back

Everything that went wrong seemed to involve him or come down his and Shaw's side.

We sold our soul when he was made captain 6 months after his signing.

Young wasn’t even that bad compared to Maguire. Good servant for the club, Ashley Young was.

Very true, people used to slate those you named for a mistake or two a season, when Maguire has about a shocker every game and it just goes unnoticed often because he gets bailed out.

A rich man's Eric Bailly based on recent form. Selling Evans for 12m and buying Maguire for 80m. Out of his depth. Varane is missing.

Should leave with his manager. The idea that he's a good defender is a joke.

He runs into and sabotages his own fecking players.

Funnily enough Rojo + Bailly was perhaps the most solid duo, somewhere in 2016/17. Both couldn't stay fit all the time though.

Only Man Utd fans rated (on a top level scale) him pre this season... Who still rates him today?

Maguire is awful, he's been directly responsible for conceding a big chance/goal in pretty much every game I can think of this season. Him against a clinical Liverpool side was a recipe for disaster.

Not that those around him have been especially great either.

He's a plodder and should be dropped once Varane is back. He is not a leader and not a captain.

He should be the centre back controlling the defence and he's the one that's all over the place.
