Totally agree with you, He’s still got 4 years on his contract and it not like anyone else is trying to sign him from us.
Maybe to do with timing and his age at the end of his contract. A 5+1 contract now would see him contracted to play for us until he's an old man and of no use to anyone

I'm not a big fan of Maguire, but, rushing him back from injury and dumping him in a backline against two pacy forwards who relish playing against us is terrible management. Even at his best, a player like Vardy is his nightmare forward, so to put him in against Vardy barely fit is sending him to the lions.

One of the all-time worst individual performances by a United player. He was at least partly to blame for all four Leicester goals. But he should never have started. Even if he had been taken off at half-time we might have stood a chance.
