He's a total liability. I think Evra might be right.
Only might?

Who should we have bought then? How in the hell he was bought at that price is beyond my comprehension
Who should we have bought then?
For £85m there would have been a handful of better options. City just got Ruben Dias for less but let’s assume he would’ve been the same a year ago (pre-covid).Who should we have bought then?
Harry needs a reset.......For £85m there would have been a handful of better options. City just got Ruben Dias for less but let’s assume he would’ve been the same a year ago (pre-covid).
Tarkowski is better and would’ve been less if we wanted British premier league talent (an odd obsession of ours last summer). If we actually had a scouting system we could’ve found a hidden gem but those sort of signings are such a thing of the past for us.
Do you think its in his head? ie: confidence is low because he is mentally broken due to Greece? He was the best available defender when we brought him(Although of course we over paid)and the stats clearly show he's improved our defense but god he perfectly sums up how shit the current state of modern defending is.
Why would that affect him to the extent it would break him mentally? Loads of people get arrested and have run ins with the law, doesn't break them.Do you think its in his head? ie: confidence is low because he is mentally broken due to Greece?
His triple error wild chicken impersonation contribution to Spurs first goal is indicative of his start to this season. Totally unsure of himself, and enable to set the tone for the defence he leads. It's uncharacteristic. Why would that affect him to the extent it would break him mentally? Loads of people get arrested and have run ins with the law, doesn't break them.
Looks that way.He needs a break from the game and the spotlight and get his head together. Hopefully not being on international duty helps. No shame in it. Bigger and better players have needed that sort of gap whilst playing for us.
He is a very good defender by today's standards; nothing more, nothing less. But, through no fault of his own, he is the most expensive defender in the history of the game who had the captaincy of the biggest club in the world thrust at him after a few months. The guy's never won a trophy in his career.
It just looks like it's all too much for him right now.
Have no idea tbh. It's possible.Do you think its in his head? ie: confidence is low because he is mentally broken due to Greece?
Ruben Dias is crap and there is a good poster on here who is familiar with the Portuguese league and he stated that Lindelof looked the more accomplished defender while at Benfica than Dias did so I think that should be a good indicator of how that will go.For £85m there would have been a handful of better options. City just got Ruben Dias for less but let’s assume he would’ve been the same a year ago (pre-covid).

You have not provided a link between this form and his exploits in Greece. His triple error wild chicken impersonation contribution to Spurs first goal is indicative of his start to this season. Totally unsure of himself, and enable to set the tone for the defence he leads. It's uncharacteristic.
I heard he was so bad at organising that some players downloaded Viber. LeaderThe best contribution he's had for United so far, was to make a Whatsapp Group.
Did I just get transported to an alternate reality where Maguire was the last Centreback on earth? because that's the only justification for posing that question with a straight face.Who should we have bought then?
Ole and the island council of coaches are soft and learning by doing mistakes. The team lack pragmatic hardness.I think Ferguson in his peak would have seen Maguire in the trouble he was in and see it might affect his game mentally and not play him in every game on the restart, and see that Pogba is coming back from a virus and not start him in every league game. It's a farcical season anyway but compare Maguire and Pogba to just 3 months ago and it's all of their worst traits out at once. And then if you try to understand reasons why, there are obvious possible reasons why.
Well it definitely sounds like you are not from around hereDid I just get transported to an alternate reality where Maguire was the last Centreback on earth? because that's the only justification for posing that question with a straight face.
This. I watched VVD speak to the media after their shitshow but I expected him to do that. What’s Maguire’s reason? He’s the captain it’s his job to go out there and take the blame. As Captain he should have gone out to speak to the press. fecking moron
He did make a twitter or IG post which kinda made me laughThis. I watched VVD speak to the media after their shitshow but I expected him to do that. What’s Maguire’s reason? He’s the captain it’s his job to go out there and take the blame.
he’ll have no problem cashing his cheque though.
