Harry Kane

With Clinton N'Jie now signed today, that's step 1 completed in the re-structured attacking options focused around Kane. Step 2 should be - and hopefully will be - happening soon.

Why can't we be happy he's playing well at his boyhood club? We all complain about the buildup of talent on the benches of the big 4 clubs - and it is obscene - I think it's great to spread out the best players in the league. Makes it so much better.

Do United need a striker? Of course they do. But if Kane wants to play at Spurs then great, it's rare these days. We can't complain about the sugar daddy clubs using money to overcome all and then expect to be able do double his wages to entice him to come.

Two seasons in Premier League as opposed to one that Kane has. Kane will be worth £300m if he has two decent seasons so understandbly Stones who has actually had two decent seasons should be considered more proven.
Kane has more matches in EPL, and more matches in general than Stones. He also has been one of the best in his position (and one of the best players in the league) for a season, something that Stones hasn't.

Stones at the moment is Phil Jones before he came to us.

A game and half without a goal sell him Levy!
he created two great chances, second was actually a goal, some very funny opinions here. "He's a proper #9" :-D He's fantastic all rounder and currently class above Rooney.

Spend the money ED!

He's having a good game. He's got a bit of class about him, which I like. Works hard as well. He's not just goals.

If Kane wasn't english, we'd all be creaming our pants (more than we are already). He looks like a clinical, all-rounded player, and especially at his age, he looks special.

I agree with this. Hope he stays at Spurs

I don't, all this romanticism is just that, reality is we need a striker badly and the English option from what is currently out there in the 21-25 age range is the one I'd want to see United go for.

In contrary, he is getting hyped up and wanted because of that.

The only thing why we would cream our pants is because he would be cheaper and probably easier to get.

It is about time for him to leave the mid table mediocrity of Spurs and make a step up to biggest club in the world.

He can fight for 6th again this season or try and push for the league. I know what I'd be telling my agent.

If it happens then so be it, but for me its nice to see a team like Spurs holding on to a home bred talent like Kane every once in a while.

we really should try and buy him. We just can't rely on Rooney as the front man, not at his age. Huge fan of Rooney's, but I always said when he got to 29/30 he'd have to forget about being a striker and re-invent himself...

We should go for him, at 25m. Cant believe people want him for an exorbitant price, even if he is a good player. He still wont have a better or similar season as last year.

As it benefits what exactly?

Call it romanticism if you want, but I don't necessarily like it when the big teams snap up all available superior young talents in the league all the time. Its nice to see a really good player stick to his team every once in a while. Kane grew up supporting Spurs and says he'd like to go on and be a legend for them. I say good for him if that's what he wants. It won't hurt the league any if the talent is spread out some. With that said, I won't complain if we make a bid and he wants the move. Its all up to him.

I don't care about Spurs though, especially with Levy there. I'm solely concerned with Manchester United and our enormous gaping hole where a #9 is needed, and whoever we get we'll be taking someone's striker, might as well be Levy's.
