Harry Kane MBE | Performances

He's on 11 official club goals currently and it's the end of September. Fair to say he'll easily hit 30+ goals in all competitions?

11 before the match, no? 13 now.

On current form I'd say he's the best striker in the world since Suarez and Lewa haven't been at their best

Just getting that into the net is a feat in itself. Would have been given on another day too.

He could win a Ballon D'or in a club which wins titles. He's to good for Spurs (and England) at the moment.

He basically scores when he wants. Probably the best striker in the league.

The thing about Kane as well is that he didn't play a lot of games at a young age (teenager that is), doesn't rely on pace massively, and is getting better.

He could keep this sort of level into his mid thirties.

He loves Spurs, he's probably their one player who'd stay anyway, IMO.

Kane is world class.

How long does he have left on his contract? He might be happy at Spurs but surely bigger clubs would double his wages and give him the chance to win something.

If he leaves Spurs I hope to god it's to Spain if he doesn't come here. Kane upfront with Jesus for City would be scary.

He's a cracking player. Better than I thought he'd be.

Just can't see him staying st Spurs unless they win one of PL, CL in this season or next.

Given he's not a boyhood spurs fan he is simply too good to have an empty trophy cabinet.

They hit the jackpot with Kane or else they would have been Everton level right now.

That sounds better than it is, Ronaldo only had 3 great seasons for us.

He had 2 good seasons and 4 great ones. By 2005-06 he had already made the Premier League team of the year. Goalscoring wise he only really had one great year in Manchester though.

Still a great feat for Kane. He should either go to Madrid of stay at Spurs, other clubs wouldn't really make a lot of sense for him.

 I think he does though, he knows they took a chance on him.

I really like him, which is something I could say about almost all the big teams strikers this year. It's mad.
Yeah, I jest.

Kane (along with Bale) is the type of player we'd have traditionally signed. World class, or thereabouts, British, and not at a traditional top four club (though Spurs are now at that level and probably here to stay as long as they don't sell their core players).

It's pretty clear Harry isn't motivated by money, this whole what he's worth is nonsensical. If Harry is happy with his pay surely that's what's important and is quite a refreshing attitude compared to most top players.

I think right now and couple years down the road might be a different story.

It's not only the money, but the money is an indicator of the level of team you're at and the chances you have of winning the big trophies.

Spurs are very lucky their star player is willing to let the club take advantage of him. For now, that is.

Sorry mate, I should have been a bit clearer. Ronaldo scores more than 20 goals in 3 seasons in all competitions. He got 18 and 17 league goals in 2 of them and 31 in the other.

He is a boyhood spurs fan. His entire family are life long spurs fans.
