Harry Kane MBE | Performances

Can't help but being a little jealous at this spurs side. Quality throughout, great manager and great young British players....not to mention scoring for fun.

Now becomes the 4th player (Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Shearer) to score 20+ goals in 3 consecutive seasons

To put Kanes achievements into perspective... If he manages 20 Premier League goals this year he will be joining the below list.

20+ Goals in PL era:
5 seasons in a row - Thierry Henry..................(1/2-5/6)
4 seasons in a row - Alan Shearer...................(93/94-96/97)
3 seasons in a row - Ruud van Nistelrooy..........(1/2-3/4)

Only 5 players have managed to score 20+ goals in 3 seasons total in the PL era:

Alan Shearer (7 seasons)
Thierry Henry (5 seasons)
Ruud van Nistelrooy (4 seasons)
Les Ferdinand, Sergio Agüero (3 seasons)

It would be one hell of an accomplishment for him to do at the age of 23 and shows the caliber of striker he is.

You can add him to both lists now.

Incredible. If he is available, we should get him. But then.. why woudl spurs sell.

This is likely to be offtopic but how come Drogba's goalscoring record isn't that impressive?

Indeed, he was a monster. Although I think Shearers record is even more impressive given he was at Blackburn and Newcastle.

Agree. I also think those guys had other strikers looking for the same chances. Where as today everything is geared for the No.9 to score.

Still it's a great achievement for a guy who wasn't exactly destined to make it at the top.

It was almost like he saved it for the big occasions. He also really was a great hold-up striker to link players in - a fairly impressive 54 league assists.

The numbers don't lie, Kane's shots to goal rate is top class. He is the difference between Spurs being alright and actually capable of something.

I'd love to have this guy at United. Would cost £100 million though, maybe more

Simply a very good striker. Doubters will remain about who he's scoring against and when he scores but ultimately it misses the point that over the course of a season he will consistently score goals regardless.

Has a weird crowd who don't rate him on here but he's class and if he were a homegrown lad playing for us, this place would be in love with him. I mean people try convince me that Lingard is class ffs.

69 goals in 101 games. Fantastic record for the past three seasons.

I don't think anyone would have complained if he had scored against all those teams who drawed with us at OT.

It would be a shame if he ended up as a Matt LeTissier type, phenomenal striker who never won anything due to his local aliegencies.

Agreed Colin.

He missed about 3 months of the season in total too

Had the POTY awards been done at the end of the season, he'd have been favourite.
