Thinks Di Zerbi is better than Pep.
Getting Rasmus for 50/60 million this summer and Kane on a free next summer would be phenomenal business.... Sets us up nicely for the next 3/5 years.
That won’t happen mate.

There will be competition for sure. Though I think that his preference will be to stay in the Prem. As long as we have a strong season, I'd assume we would be favourites. So you don't think we will have too much competition because bar City most will be interested next summer without a doubt

Could happen. Just have to hope that Levy remains stubborn and ridiculous.Still fear he might go to Bayern this summer
Sideways moveIt will really irritate me if he signs for Bayern. It’s such a sideways move for his career to go there and it just gets Levy out of a massive hole.
Stand firm Harry and remember how Levy messed you around 2 years ago. Dial it in for this season and break the premier league record at Old Trafford in 24/25.

Moving to Germany is backwards in a sense. However, more money and a chance of winning the Champions League evens it out. Still, not as good as signing for a top Prem side.Sideways move
Bayern are as big as any club in PL. They may dominate germany, but Madrid and Barcelona dominate Spain.Moving to Germany is backwards in a sense. However, more money and a chance of winning the Champions League evens it out. Still, not as good as signing for a top Prem side.

Signing for Bayern is as good as signing for Utd or Liverpool. They are steeped in silverware and a history many clubs would die for.
Yeah that is very true unfortunately
No, not for me. The Bundesliga does nothing for me. Bayern can compete for the Champions League, but so can we and the same goes for Liverpool (this season aside ), with the added benefit of playing in the best league in the world.Signing for Bayern is as good as signing for Utd or Liverpool.

But everything you said there is applicable to Real Madrid who are bigger than any club in this country.
Yeah I wasn't arguing against Madrid. La Liga is a very respectable league, though still not the Prem. Madrid are also a far bigger draw than Bayern. But everything you said there is applicable to Real Madrid who are bigger than any club in this country.

I have a feeling United are working on a deal for Kane behind the scenes. Levy has to field calls and the public perception of a tough negotiator is undermined by the fact that he has sold players in the past. He’s just a complete and utter arsehole, but I think United would be foolish not to at least keep apprised of Bayern’s negotiations, as he’d probably prefer to stay in the PL.
Bayern is historically a bigger club than any of the English ones. Bringing the League's quality into the table sounds more like a coping mechanism.
Back on topic, is it possible to think of a scenario where Kane stays, Tottenham has a terrible first half of the season and a Transfer in January (maybe money plus Martial or Maguire) becomes a last minute viable option for Levy?

Wow, wait a second. Bayern is a giant club by all means but that he is bigger than United or Liverpool is a huge overstatement.Bayern is historically a bigger club than any of the English ones. Bringing the League's quality into the table sounds more like a coping mechanism.

I didn't state that Bayern were not a huge club. My point was that I wouldn't consider going there due to the lesser quality of the league. You can play for a huge club in England and compete for the Champions League. That's a win - win that Bayern can't offer. But then that goes to show that you can have huge clubs even if they aren't in the biggest league. Bayern are absolutely huge globally.
Footbal was created by the English but their players & clubs are seen by many to be overrated.

From the rumblings about Kane wanting to go to Bayern it seems he thinks differently.

He won’t be going to Bayern if there’s a race for his signature on a free next summer. He may be desperate enough to want to get away from Spurs that he will sign for them this summer.
Kane doesn't have that option available to him this summer. I might be wrong, but in a fair fight next summer, I highly doubt that he would choose Bayern over us.From the rumblings about Kane wanting to go to Bayern it seems he thinks differently.

1. Harry isn't going to pressure for a move to United for multiple reasons. Firstly he's not going to pressure the club to go anywhere. He loves the club and with one year left his future is in his hands, he doesn't have to burn any bridges with the club he loves.
2. I know this is a United forum and your team is on the up but...if he didn't put up a big stink for City who are a much more sure bet for the top trophies than United. Sorry. Then he's not pressuring for a move to United. Almost your entire logic rests on that point and it's a very weak and never happening type of point.
Also selling Kane and reinvesting that 100mil will not put Spurs in contention for a PL title. Not even the most deluded of Spurs supporters would even think that. This season or the next.
I don't think you're wrong about winning things with or without him I just don't think people realize the revenue he generates the club. The offers being thrown around basically amount to even or less than even for what he generates. Meaning leaving on a free but getting a year out of Kane's play and revenue generated is still a logically sound move.
I personally agree about selling now and rebuilding. That said don't sell to a rival and don't sell for these paltry fees getting thrown around. Even with just 1 year left on his contract Kane is so far and away better than any other goal scorer any team could hope to recruit this summer. It's not even close.
How I wish that was true but our budget will be used up on Onana,Mount & striker. He was only remotely a possibility if takeover got done but leeches dragged their feet
I think it depends on how much value he places on a Bundesliga title. It's pretty worthless to me, but I'm not Kane. In terms of the Champions League, we are capable of going just as far as them.I reckon it's probably closer than you think and a lot would depend on if we look close enough to the title that he feels he can push us to it. I know for a fact he won't want to end his career without winning league titles.
Myopic view, but its your opinion and thats fair enough. No, not for me. The Bundesliga does nothing for me. Bayern can compete for the Champions League, but so can we and the same goes for Liverpool (this season aside ), with the added benefit of playing in the best league in the world.
No, it only started there in 1992. Otherwise Kane wouldn’t be competing for this oh so important record.Footbal was created by the English but their players & clubs are seen by many to be overrated.
