Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

levy won’t countenance selling him to a Dele’s tic rival.

If he joins Bayern then he’s even a bigger idiot than I thought he was. Winning a pointless meaningless bundesliga just for sake of winning anything. Might as well go to Scotland and join Celtic. Atleast it’s much more competitive than the most one sided league in Europe. With one year left on his contract, he could join Madrid or Barca next year if he decides to not become the record premier league goal scorer.

A creative solution could be to sign a deal at Spurs and have a year loan at Bayern. Although that seems highly highly unlikely.

Did Kane play in the Dutch league?
If not its obvious we wont buy him.
Heh. Anyone?

He only wants to join Bayern

What utter BS

He doesn’t have a chance to win UCL at Celtic though, whereas with Bayern he arguably may have a higher chance than with any EPL team bar City and they have Haaland. He was in a UCL final not long ago, it’s not too far fetched to imagine him wanting to have a shot at that again, winning some league titles along the way. Plus, he may prefer not to play for a Premier league rival, if possible.

About Spain, who knows if they want him. Barca have Lewandowski until 2026 and he scored enough for them to win the league. Real lost Benzema but they are clearly working on Mbappé and have Vinicius on the left so no room for him. If one of them would clearly indicate that they want him, I doubt he would turn them down.

Another benefit at Bayern: Playing only 34 league games a season from now on as well as only one national cup competition might prolong his career aged 30+.

So clearly there is some obvious benefits, even though I will be the first to admit the Bundesliga is not competitive anymore. I’m German and haven’t watched it in years, last time was maybe 7-8 years ago when you could still tell yourself that the league is somewhat competitive without bursting into laughter right after.

Bayern are desperate to sign Kane. After a poor last season, old hands Hoeness and Rummenigge have taken it upon themselves to make transfers. They have a plan A and a plan B, both of which involve adding the England captain to their squad. Plan A: Raise the bid to £80 million and try to sign Harry this summer. Plan B: They will try to persuade him to sign for them in a year, when his contract with Spurs is up (they will buy Fuellkrug for the coming season).
Many of you underestimate this club. After all, Bayern regularly beat English clubs in the Champions League (City being the exception) and are one of the bookmakers top 4 favourites to win this competition every year. Last season, it was as follows: City, Bayern, Real, PSG.

We need him badly. Budget options like Rasmus would end up costing 50m might as well get a proper striker.

We’ll struggle next season without Kane, striker market is straight up trash right now.

Second mention makes it sound like this was copied and pasted from an article.

Levy is not selling to us unless we offer way over 80m, it would take 100m+ from us

I think we could do a deal with 85-90 + add-ons. A hefty price but might be a better deal than spending 50m on a young untested striker who might flop and us missing out on CL

all of this is purely speculative nonsense until a club makes an offer of cold, cold, cash. i still reckon we should put in a bid of 70m just to watch everyone at spurs lose their shit.

Will be a sad end to his career going to Bayern at this stage with nothing to show for in England, a glorious record not taken.

Or put in an offer to seriously test Levi resolve. He doesn’t except at 70. Go in hard or don’t bother.

When and how did Kane hurt you so much?

Bayern are a massive club, a lot of our fans seem to believe whatever suits their pro united agenda these days. I doubt it’s Bayern or nothing for Kane unless that’s the Tottenham perspective, but it’s still a great move for him. They won the league on the last day, how is it any more of a one sided league than ours in England currently?

When was last time a different team won the Bundesliga?

Liverpool won the PL 3 years ago.

What happened to Real Madrid? Was he outpriced ? Or was it the fact mbappe could be up for grabs?

I think its the Mbappe factor, little doubt in my mind that he has been tapped up by Madrid, and PSG will either have to accept a "low" fee or he walks away on a freebie.

The PL is obviously more competitive than our league. But I wouldn’t use that competitiveness as an advertisement. City won 5 out of the last 6. That‘s not great either. Italy and Spain are the leagues to go to for that.

That’s what I thought, it’s no coincidence the kane rumours stopped as soon as mbappe came out refusing to sign new contract. At one point it looked a sure thing.
