Fact is, If I gave you a chance to list the games Scholes, has been good for us this season I doubt you would come up with 4. Yet I can list you more than 4 occasions when Hagreaves has been good. Same as Fletcher, Anderson and Carrick. But you are already biased against Hargreaves. So even if Scholes played like he did vs Pompey for the rest of the season you'd still swear to the highest heavens Hargreaves has been worse. On top of claiming a few thosuand agree with you. I'm assuming you're basing this on attending United matches. If so your experience about supporter views on Hargreaves is completely different from mine. Where do you sit at OT? :confused:

However, I would like to know what the consensus at OT is on Hargreaves. So I ask Ralphie, Redphil and any other match go-ers, what is the general feeling towards Hargreaves, from the fans at OT ?

In the Stretty and in the away ends it's frustration and an increasing number of moans and complaints. We don't boo our own, but he's not a player who is cheered or sung about.

I would say disapointment with some and told you so with others .......... I am no longer there every week like Ralphie and others but I think most just do not know what he brings to the side. Perhaps he might have a blinder in CL semi and become a hero but with Fletcher looking like he has stepped up a couple of levels, Anderson a potential genius and Carrick getting better every week and we know how Scholes can play he might not get that chance.

I don't want to be damning, despite what some think, and he has had an injury hit season but I really can not think of one game when I thought MOM Hargreaves or even close to it and at his price and age I would have thought I would.

This is true but one of the reasons is because we havent thought up a good song for him yet. Evras in the same category (chant wise) but, this whole threads a bit stupid. Lets face it both Hargreaves and Scholes are great players but both have had limited games through injury and rotation.

I go to the game every week and I don't hear anything but the truth from the stands, if Hargreaves has a shit game we tell it how it is, same goes for Scholes, Rooney Rio et al. No one is immune to a slagging off or a name not being chanted.

Still thought the torn rubber gag was funny, no offence to your illustrious tribe there chief.

Well yeah, that's kind of my feelings also. I don't want to write him off yet, but I can't say he's played well, when he quite evidently hasn't.
