Half way through the season. How are you feeling?

Extreme anger. At the Glazers and their pet Rat. Not a fan of this Amorim chap either and it appears that for some reason he is above criticism or question. I also detest the players as a group, many are not fit to wear the badge.

The summer was yet another poor window. Ugarte has done well after a few iffy games, Mazraoui has been quite solid but Zirkzee and De Ligt are lemons. £72.66 million wasted on the latter two albeit Zirkzee's fee will be around will trickle for 4 years or something. Probably 3 years after he's gone.

De Ligt is not, he has just came in to a dysfunctional team and has actually been decent in some games, the jury is still out though, but he has shown enough to be able to improve and be a mainstay. It is unfair to put De Ligt in with Zirkzee who has been truly abysmal.

Keep: Ugarte, Mainoo, Amad, De ligt, Yoro, Bruno, Mazzroui, Rasmus and Garnacho or Antony (but not both).
Move: Casemiro, Lindelof, Mount, Shaw, Dalot, Rashford, Erickson, Johnny Evans and Onana
Keep Mcquire one more year but dont extend contract.
Bring in players that actually care!!!

Evans has not put a foot wrong.

Miserable but it feels close to the bottom so let it all fall!

Rashy and Casemiro are certain to leave. The permanent sicknotes can go too.

Just ride the season out and set a base for next season...a season which will be without European football, so a small squad will cope just fine.

Anybody with half a brain has conceded this season is a right off but there will be still be those, and the media, that will be calling for Rubens head after Liverpool and Arsenal and not looking at the bigger picture and at least one transfer window of his own, even though it's going to take three or four, once again.

We aren't going to be relegated calm down, we'll pick up enough points to be safe and slimming the fixtures down next season isn't a bad thing. All this top 4 talk like we ever go on and compete in Europe, it's just extreme games that this shower haven't got in them. We need a reset. This season is it.

He had a few good games in between poor ones when he first came, now he's on a run of poor games

Great. We're going to win the league.

Hopefully our results will sanction a more serious structural rebuild and I'm talking about outgoings even more so than about incoming transfers.

Prior to yesterday he didnt play for a couple matches. He was pretty decent before that. I think he has a bit of gritty determination about him, our team needs players like that imho.

Utterly dejected.

INEOS have
1) Sacked 250 staff.
2) Cut charity donations while raising childrens ticket prices.
3) Given unfathomable power to an aging cycling coach.
4) Spent months chasing their 'world class' DoF, compromising the summer transfer window, paid a small fortune to obtain him, and then sacked him after 5 months.
5) Activated ten Hags contract option after interviewing and failing to appoint multiple other coaches, spent 200 million in the summer on players for a 4-2-3-1 formation, then sacked ten Hag after a couple of months because it wasn't working out.
6) Appoint a young promising coach with a clearly defined system he had no intention of changing without the players to play in it or the funds to back the manager.

When it's all written out it becomes a horrible read

The season is pretty much over, pretty sure we'll not go down. Manager needs to be given time.

It's always darkest before the dawn, we'll rise again.

Angry and frustrated mostly. We're completely fecked in every way as a club. The owners are jokers, the manager can't use his only system because the players are so bad that they can't do the basics, let alone follow a system, and we're skint so we can't even replace them.

Amorim has my support, he's been left with a busted flush of a squad. I'm behind him having a clear out, even if it means the likes of Rashy leaving. I am worried though, we're in relegation form and I'm not sure we're going to improve any time soon.
As for what's going on at the top of the club...shambles. They need to find a way to support Amorim in this transfer window.

What odds did you get?

Almost like it’s incredibly unlikely

It's only our name keeping the odds so high.

We fit every other metric of being a relegation candidate. Can't score. Can't defend set pieces or crosses. No legs in midfield apart from Ugarte (who's only moderately athletic really). Dodgy keeper. And a group of players who almost certainly don't have the stomach for a relation dogfight unlike the teams around us.

I’ll give you 150/1 odds

I put £20 on us to get relegated after we lost to Bournemouth. We are sliding one way with no money to improve things and a manager unwilling to adapt to the squad’s strengths (there aren’t many). We have all the signs of a club that could get relegated including a selection of arrogant fans who don’t think we can. Threads keep being closed when the subject is discussed.

If we can bring in at least 2, 1 AMF and a lwb, I think it's a good chance to build a bit of momentum. I'm hopeful in Europe (who fecking knows why)
Think we will be lucky to get top half in league

Need proven striker as it's not Rasmus

That's kind of annoyong, isn't it? You look at the last transfer window and it wasn't bad at all... And yet it did not really take us forward in any way.

Happy New Year to all United fans. Really looking forward to Ruben taking us forward and upwards this year

we’re getting relegated. we heard it from the horse’s mouth.
No way. After Liverpool we have a relatively easy set of games, which should see us safe. I expect some reinforcements this month and once we are safe some of the youth given a chance. Eternal optimist

We won't get relegated but it will be Feb before we see improvement. Games coming too thick and fast, Amorim won't change his way but without fitness, new signings it will take time. It will be a scrape top ten reset and clear out in the summer. It's awful to watch and embarrassing but it needs to happen. The playing staff is very week.

I'm starting to feel indifferent. Everything about the club is extremely dislikable at the moment. I don't have faith in the current regime, I think they're as clueless as the previous one, if not worse.

I thought Amorim could light a spark with this squad, but things are actually getting worse.

I watch all games now expecting us to lose.

I'm grateful that I had a chance to enjoy the Fergie era in all its glory.

This is it for me, everything about the club is so unlikeable currently. Hard to see past it
