Am sure you must be able to do that - the crews must be recognized when you are playing online I would have thought.
Well yea we can still play online together, but I think it still counts if you play yourself and doesn't matter what platform you are playing on
Here is a small description of Max Payne crews, they haven't announced any gta crews details except hierarchies which is just allowing people to be able to recruit new members

Max Payne crews was incredibly pointless, I hope GTA do more to it. In Max Payne anybody in the clan gets points for the clans just by playing multiplayer. Clan Wars simply meant that one person from one clan killed the same person twice from another clan - starting a clan war. You didn't know you were in a clan war, but by the end of the match whoever from the two clans had most kills won or something stupid.
Basically, clan wars were non-existant. It was lame.

why is it not being announced on next gen?
Because it won't be a next gen launch title.. So why put people getting it off now?
It will probably be out Spring next year on next gen.
Imagine if it was a launch title for the PS4 and Xbone. I don't think that any launch title would top it, ever.
Where do I sign up?
I think they'll release it on next gen around the same time as PC version which will be at some point next year. I doubt that such announcement would put people off buying it for a PS3/360, would anyone seriously want to wait a year to play it? I can barely hold on for another week or two let alone a year.
With around 150 million or more 360 and PS3 owners around the world it wouldn't make sense to release it only for next gen either, not to mention they've been working on it for 5 years and both PS4 and XboxOne were in early stages of R&D in 2007-08.

Given the next gen consoles setup I think its logical to see a PC/PS4/X1 version sometime next year, plenty of people would double dip for a next gen version.

For some reason I thought GTA 5 was going to be available for the PS4 and I pre-ordered the console.
It will definitely come out at some stage on that format.
Yeah I know but Im so desperate to play it. But if I buy it for the Xbox 360 I have right now, I wont be able to play it after a while because Im selling my Xbox to help fund my PS4. I thought it was like Watch Dogs which gets released with the PS4.
It's highly difficult to be in any way to be negative about this game, but I just hope I'm not too hyped up, as there's been many cases of that in the past regarding games for me. In saying that though, Rockstar have never let me down.

Big map but most it is green.
Yep... the city bit itself doesn't look overly huge or anything - but then it is hard to tell scale.
I'd be a bit surpirsed if this map has more urban area then GTA IV did though.
