I hate it when Michael, Franklin & Trevor don't attack the space...feck me the attacking runs are terrible
wrong thread100% today baby!
@Damien, wanker
The sheer scale and life of the game completely blew me away and for that alone it was the best game of the past generation.I dont know if it is just me but I think this turned out a bit underwhelming. The 2 best Gta games are set in a differant era so why did they go back to back modern day for the last 2 games? I would gladly take 80s Vice City again for Gta VI.
Why would that happen this close to release? Still 14th according to Stream and you can pre-load the game now.PC release in 6 days or another delay?
Cause they had about 4 or 5 delays till now.Why would that happen this close to release? Still 14th according to Stream and you can pre-load the game now.
59 GB..
Hehe, well yeah - but this close to release the game has been completed for a while.Cause they had about 4 or 5 delays till now.
It will be 60 gb? My god.
I hope there will be some good torrent.
Maybe I'll buy it although it will probably be around 50 pounds here.Hehe, well yeah - but this close to release the game has been completed for a while.
Wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a crack. IIRC it took ages to properly crack GTA4,and I believe that GTA5 uses the same system as FIFA15 (Denuvo), which still hasn't been cracked properly. On top of that, it uses R* Social Club and Steam for the steam-version.
The size:
Edit: Apparently it doesn't use Denuvo!
It's £32 on https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/grand-theft-auto-v--2625-1?ref=itad (never shopped there before, it was just the cheapest option that came up on isthereanydeal.com). £40 seems to be the regular price and it's €60 (~£43.50) on Steam.Maybe I'll buy it although it will probably be around 50 pounds here.
32 quid is not that bad. But dont know if its a good choice to pre-purchase it. I need to cut expenses. on the other hand to wait for crack of the game, maybe I'll wait forever. It's £32 on https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/grand-theft-auto-v--2625-1?ref=itad (never shopped there before, it was just the cheapest option that came up on isthereanydeal.com). £40 seems to be the regular price and it's €60 (~£43.50) on Steam.

But story wise it's pretty crap. The rehashing of some good bits from old movies(There's a difference between paying homage to the movies you liked and just stealing from them)wouldn't be too big of a problem unless you've being doing since 2002, which they have (Vice City). The old ones got way with this slightly as they were covered in nostalgia and the low exceptions of gamers at the time. Something the newer don't have and rightly so.It's been a good 10+ years and it hasn't moved on since Vice City.(GTA 4 did try something interesting although failing)
Having said all of that I do have sympathy for them as sandbox games do seem to have a tendency to struggle with story pacing.
The character are where my problems are really. Their just not that good.
Trevor is the stand out but he so unlikeable or in other words such a massive cnut that I didn't care what happens to him or what was going to happen to him as the likely out come was he was going to do something cnuty(Which he did because he's a cnut)
Michael is every character from every gangster movie that isn't The Godfather, YES WE GET IT YOUR TOO OLD FOR THIS !!!!.
And Franklin(CJ 2.0) is the bog standard GTA character who's been around since well forever and the only one with some self awareness but also can't stop mentioning this fact.
Like the storyline the character haven't moved on at all since Vice City. In fact Vice City Stories(PSP) had a great character lead story where you have a relationship with some lady who's husband used to beat her up. It actually had a bit of a arc, something GTA 5 doesn't even attempt.
So after that long list of reasons to why I hate the game.
I actually enjoyed it.
p.s. the soundtrack is shite.
Yeah I would agree with this. Vice City was the first game I played so maybe I'm a bit biased but the whole premise of that game was a lot better than GTA 5. Tommy Vercetti, the lone mobster stuck in a place he doesn't know with his lunatic friend Ken Rosenberg. You end up having such an attachment to Tony compared to the annoying characters from GTA 5. Vice City also had a proper twist with Lance Vance turning against you near the end but GTA 5 seemed to be lacking all of that. I mean who was the main antagonist? That really rich guy who went jogging and most of us can't even remember what he was called?I dont know if it is just me but I think this turned out a bit underwhelming. San Andreas was also much more enjoyable than GTA 4 or 5 but I'm not even going to go into that.
£18.88 here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/grand-theft-auto-v-rockstar-pc-18-88-nuuvem-2172776Maybe I'll buy it although it will probably be around 50 pounds here.
I hadnt played any of the previous versions and I loved it. Went from a PS3 to a PS4 and couldnt be arsed with the story mode again, tried it like you but just couldnt get into it. Loved the online side of the game for ages but starting to tire of it as well. I loved the Last of Us, never tried the online version.I played it through and completed it on Xbox 360 on release. Literally every spare hour I had I smashed it for about 3 weeks.
Then I didn't touch it again.
Then I got it as part of my PS4 bundle over a year later. Tried to start a new story mode thinking it had been long enough away to get me involved again. I'm not sure if it was just the slow initial pacing (tow truck missions, really?), or that I just wasn't that bothered, but I couldn't get into it.
Someone mentioned The Last Of Us. I'd just finished that. And I think that might be the reason. Going from a survival horror game where every bullet and every small supply counts, to the excess of GTA is a bit of a shock. The game just didn't feel rewarding. Hopefully TLOU hasn't ruined all games for me.
Thats the guy....he was no Rircardo Diaz, Sonny Forelli or Officer Tenpenny.Devin Weston.
Vice City was certainly the peak in terms of fun factor.
You have to admire the boldness with the attempt at a three-pronged protagonist in GTA-V though.
Stealing the Blackhawk helicopter and wreaking havoc never got old for me.I thought it ran out of steam after we unlocked the last island and the Haitians came into play.
I would love a current gen Vice City though. 80s Miami neon lined beaches would look brilliant.
