Feel so sorry for him.
Yeah he did. Managers and players will moan about anything though.
They've put in some VOLDEMORTifying displays recently.I WANDer what made him take that move. It was definitely the RON move for him, he just doesn’t have the MAGIC for it with his DRACOnian tactics. It doesn’t seem to matter what he does it’s ALBUSted. They’re probably going to get HAGRID of him soon if they’re SIRIUS about getting Top 4.
Potter looked like he was mouthing "absolute bullshit" at the ref's assistant there. Ref had no choice, surely.
Gone by the end of February?
Feel so sorry for him.
feck that, gone by the lunar new year.
Why?
Because he's a good manager and he is having absolutely no luck. Injury pile ups, when it's starting to click in a game the two best players are out through no fault of his own.
Even with the injuries, they should be doing better than they are. Meanwhile, De Zerbi has come into Brighton and they haven't missed Potter one little bit. I personally think he's a decent manager, but pretty overrated.

There is something about Potter, and I think it was his impressive stint in Sweden, along with Brighton’s style, that seems to buy him a lot of excuses.
It was two years about hearing about his Xg at Brighton, and now it is injuries at Chelsea. There comes a time when top managers need to overcome these difficulties that all managers face.
I think he is getting off quite easily for what has been a shocking performance at Chelsea so far.
He's a good manager but he's out of his depth, regardless of the issues they're having he can't organise the team to look like footballers.Because he's a good manager and he is having absolutely no luck. Brighton weren't a mess when De Zerbi took over. They were on the up and set up for a new manager to come in and excel if they had the same philosophy or similar. Chelsea is a start from scratch job.
We’re they? They were a top 4 side with 250m odd spent on it. Tuchel was sacked after 3 league wins in 7, somehow they’re worse now.Brighton weren't a mess when De Zerbi took over. what could they fall to here after this round? 11th? 12th?

How is the relationship between Tuchel and Boehly? Chances of the german come back?
As I can't see Potter surviving current game if they lose
There were no excuses afforded to him at Brighton this season. It finally clicked in terms of xG and they were magnificent.
I wasn't overly impressed with his work at Swansea tbh, and Brighton are Brighton; a really well run club, who can transition to another manager seamlessly, because of their internal structures. He done a decent job there, but I would put a-lot of that down to the club being so well run. Even at that, he struggled at times and was booed by his own fans last season.
I feel he's in well over his head at Chelsea, and I would never have even considered him as a Ralf/Ole replacement, in all honesty.
Well, Brighton are positioned lower than when Potter was there, so not entirely true.
I think it’s retconning history here. Say what you want about Tuchel and Chelsea but they aren’t middle of the table bad. They aren’t even trying to play a different way or adapt here, they’re just dead.Yes. United spent loads too but you'd consider them a start from scratch job when EtH came in too.
No one put a gun to his head? He had a great thing going on at Brighton, but he left them mid season to chase the glory, and the money.Feel so sorry for him.
Come on, for some reason there's constant excuses for Potter, anyone else is 'shit' by now. They're conceding at will because Reece James is injured, despite spending £180m on defenders, they're hardly creating any chances and the chances they're having are half chances. Injuries or not, they're not even hard to beat and that's the minimum expectation for a team like Chelsea or any PL team for that matter. The players look like they're not arsed and I don't think anyone can give an accurate description of what Chelsea re actually trying to do tactically. That's not true. They were functioning well in terms of their attacking play tonight and then lost their best player this season to injury and their best player on the night to a silly individual mistake.
He was booed because football fans are stupid and fickle, not because he's a poor manager. Yes, Brighton were and are fantastically well run as a football club in terms of the back room staff but on the pitch it was Potter that put together an excellent system which helped them improve each year.

I rate him but yeah. There was absolutely no way that move was going to go well.No one put a gun to his head? He had a great thing going on at Brighton, but he left them mid season to chase the glory, and the money.

Nah, Potter is having a mare on a shipwreck but really any other club getting him will find a true gem, he will be snapped instantly as soon as he is available again.
