Hardest shot in golf is the one immediately following a shank…
Bought a few on eBay. There’s always deals on there.
I just don’t see the markup on a new club as remotely justified v. that of a used club. Slap a new grip on a used club & it’s new to the new owner.
I only had two sets of irons my golfing career of 35ish years. Luckily both fit my eye & were eminently playable.
That’s how I justified buying so many used wedges & fairway woods / hybrids, that I saved so much in never changing out my irons I could be a whore for those used clubs.
Just looked those up. Quite sexy.Yeah makes perfect sense. I've already resolved to do something similar when I move on from my current stock irons - just hoping to get good enough to justify looking for a used set of Mizuno 223s!

Mizuno has made the sexiest irons for decades imo.I saw a used set of 221s that I didn't quite have the balls to pull the trigger on at the time - wasn't sure I could justify the cost given the lack of forgiveness. But goddamn are they beautiful clubs in my opinion
My TM your preferred MB’s say hello….. except for the stupid stamp on the back which says “tour preferred”. They’re gorgeous.Mizuno has made the sexiest irons for decades imo.
Good looking, no doubt, very clean & a bit old school, but there has always been something about Mizuno irons that has always caught my eye. Never played with them outside of on the range, they never could supplant my sets of irons, but I still lusted after them. A bit of unrequited golf love.My TM your preferred MB’s say hello….. except for the stupid stamp on the back which says “tour preferred”. They’re gorgeous.

Both of their approach shots to 18 were unreal.Fantastic weekend viewing at the Scottish Open. Gutted for Bob as it would have been unreal for him to win, but so pleased for Rory. Some outstanding shots yesterday.
Buzzing for the Open, my favourite tournament by far. Should be a belter.

This is awesome. I was a year too old to ever get to be on the same team as my brother. Would’ve loved to have been able to compete with him.
Reverse angle of Rory’s stingerTwo of the best you will see all year. Great finish in awful conditions.
Same thoughts I have, honestly.I’d imagine they’re either gonna do rubbish together, or shoot the lights out.
Beautiful
They are in European telecasts but not in America. They tend to have shot tracer over there on everything so front facing shots don’t work.I wish shot angles like that were used more often live in telecasts.
YupCourse is starting to get a little crispy.
This is how I play golf:
One in my sim place. So nice. Those maize colored Taylor Made bags are quite sweet.
Get what you are saying, only being able to tee off on the first hole makes for a long, unpredictable day of golf. Reversing the tee sheet for tomorrow helps even out the playing conditions. Not to be rude but today elevates the issue with the open and the size of its field. The course conditions for morning and then late evening are miles apart. That really shouldn’t be the case.
also I really like Adam Scotts position on the distance. Tell them max 300cc driver head and watch them try and drive the ball at 130mph club head speed there.
byrson would never see a fairway again.
