Scottie with a four jack on nine.
Think round three 10th hole @ Genesis with Colin Morikiwa was really insightful. Back in February I think was the first time I seen a player in conversation like that. They do it in some other tournaments, but it's feckin wild one of the top guys doing it in a major is proper mental.
He offered to do it though, that's great. He's probably a good player for it as he's fairly comfortable with media, comms and talking.
I'd like it more in the "smaller" tournaments they play and the Ryder cup.
It’s gonna go from 80 & sunny to 58, windy, & an inch of rain in three hours time in Augusta.
It's gonna suck for Rahm. Brooks got the nice weather today.
Shows how difficult the pins were that everyone else out there has had the nice weather but koepka was head and shoulders above everyone so far.
Aye, Koepka is playing unreal. He's deffo upped his game here Vs his LIV golf game... He's always been a major player tbf.
Rahm or hovland probably need to get their round in in no more than 3 behind.
Or he could pull a Norman in 1996. It’s too early to discuss anyone running away with it.For sure, otherwise we need a brooks bad spell tomorrow to give anyone a chance. He could easily run away with it.
I’d do the exact same thing, hit it off the tee to one of my wedge distances. I always had a challenge when I was trying to punch a 60 degree or had to pitch it from 40ish yards.@calodo2003
How would you be playing #3 today? I think I would want gap wedge for my second shot rather than a 50 yard chip.
Probably replace it with a similar height tree as well. They grow & maintain a few acres of grass for greens & fairways on property so they can make quick fixes if something gets washed away, gets burnt, etc. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had partially mature pine trees to relocate. You know that tree will be removed in about 10 minutes. Quicker than the F1 marshalls mending a concrete wall back into place.
Hopefully he didn't sound like this drunk jackass...Faldo sounded smashed just now on the Sky coverage.
Agree. A good sized squall is going through right now, I’ll bet that’s what caused concern enough to cancel for the day.Honestly… suspending play for the rest of the day for 2 trees falling is pretty dumb.

Both times I played it I did exactly that. Don’t remember hitting a good wedge either time.
Worked the 97 Masters & was able to play on the Monday following in an absolute stroke of luck. Second time was due to my doing a huge wine tasting for a bunch of muckity mucks in Aiken & they told me to bring my clubs. We played Aiken CC the day of the tasting & they kept being evasive about where we were playing the following day. They took a back road into Augusta to try to surprise me, but I cottoned onto them kinda early. It was amazing to drive down Magnolia Lane the second time though. How did you manage to play? Good connections?
