Music Glastonbury 2023

Sounds really good now, they've exceeded my expectations.

Slash is a God.

I'm watching the BBC2 version so it's just started. He can't project his voice, it's barely audible. I'm trusting you lot that reckon it gets better :)

Axl Roses voice just isn't very good anymore. If it's anything like it was when I saw them headline Download a few years ago you're in for a real treat when they sing November Rain!

Still enjoying this far more than the turd Arctic Monkeys gave us last night.

It doesn't matter, it's just a great event that you'll more than likely remember.

Sounds strange yet also makes perfect sense.

She called out Matty Healy of The 1975 before playing it. Played half of her own song and then segued into Break Stuff. Unreal.

"I wrote this next song because I was sick and tired of these micro-aggressions. So tonight, this goes out to a white man that watches Ghetto Gaggers and mocks Asian people on a podcast. He also owns my masters. I've had enough."

When you're there it's different. You're too caught up in the moment singing, dancing and enjoying yourself to care how it sounds.

When you're watching it stone cold sober on TV its hard not to judge!

I am very far from sober

Yeah definitely. You get hit by the power of the music, the thud of the drums through your chest. There's no way to recapture that through a live recording!

You can turn it up loud on a good sound system for a start.

Slash is awesome. I've already enjoyed this more than the Arctic Monkeys, despite the vocal issues.

I'm necking rum to get into the rock and roll spirit. Considering snorting some lines off a supermodel later
