Music Glastonbury 2023

Seems the mix is wrong he actually sounds fine when he's loud.

I think he's sounds good when he's singing the deeper parts. The higher pitched stuff though I think he sounds a bit like Mickey Mouse.

I think he's still great though. After AM it's nice seeing a whole band actually rocking and look like they're enjoying what they're doing!

Elsewhere, Loyle Carner is proving why he's the best thing in the UK rap scene. Trying to decide between Fatboy Slim and Christine & The Queens next.

It definitely is. When you can actually hear him he sounds really good. He's just being completely drowned out at times.
He might be clearer on November Rain I guess they will play that. I'm loving this anyway and I wasn't their biggest fan back in the day.

Me too. Not a massive fan of them, but the band sound incredible.

Can't underestimate how hard it is to sing the way Axl does either, was difficult even when he was young and learning.

Hearing Rocket Queen just reminds me how good an album Appetite for Destruction is. Every song on there is an absolute banger.

Ohhhh can't wait. I fecking love that song.

They were the first band I ever really got into. Paradise City came out when I was about 12 and just played Appetite to death. So good.

Axel sounds dodge but they are playing a great set to be fair. I don’t know why but I just assumed they were all half dead by now and this would be a disaster

Turned over to see Lana and instead all I see is a washed up racist band fronted by I assume Jim Davidson now looking at him

Yeah I think they're sounding incredible. And despite Axls voice not being what it was he's still seems fully in to it and giving it everything which is great to see. He must be knackered the way he tears about the stage now at his age

He was much louder there feck all wrong with his voice really. The guitars are too loud in the mix. But then again they sound incredible.

Duff is loud here but he's on a wired mic wonder if that's Axls issue on the radio one.

Buzzing off this, not gonna lie, way better than I was hoping for.

Finally Lana is on someone who can actually sing

How come Axl Rose sounds..... good? A more miraculous recovery than when Liam starting sounding good again after his disasterpiece headline act in 2002, but Liam was like 30 when he recovered his voice.
