Glastonbury 2017

£500, jaysus. That's nuts.

As good as Glastonbury looks, the European festivals tend to have lineups as good for far cheaper and with far better weather. NOS Alive had a better lineup than Glastonbury last year and cost €130 a ticket. In fact even with flights and a quality Airbnb close to the festival it still worked out cheaper.

Yep. Still gets a chuckle every time it pops up on my Twitter feed.
I remember cracking up hearing him say that he wants it to continue long after he dead, telling his girlfriend tell keep it going in memory of him.

Complete Legend.

That's with luxury camping. Never been to a festival abroad but Glasto is like a City, the lineup is unimportant for me, it is the place.

I forgot it's not on next year, I have to go at some point, this year it has had the best line up out of any UK and European festival. Either Download again for me next year or back to Reading.

Sziget in Hungary has luxury camping too and is a massive island. Unreal festival.

But yeah tbf everything I've heard of Glastonbury seems to be that it's pretty much unrivalled as a festival so it probably is worth it.

Yeah Killer Mike is hilarious. Downed three Guinness on stage in 2 minutes. I've been drinking it for 15 years and I couldn't do that!
feck!

They were just talking between tracks and he said "it you're a fat feck like me don't try and crowd surf, meet me down the gym"

Enjoyed the Biffy set, couple of "Lighter" ones thrown in there compared to when I saw them at Download a couple of weeks ago.

this is gonna be controversial but Radiohead are not a good festival band IMO (runs for cover). They're technically amazing and they've covered a great range of genre. But they don't have enough stadium anthems, not many big sing a long choruses. They're just not very entertaining on stage. Foo fighters are completely one dimensional but I enjoyed them a lot more.

Also Muse are much better.

Muse are fecking terrible

I've already had enough of this ginger prick and his tiny guitar.

EDIT:  He's rapping now.

Ed doing great. Also biggest crowd of the headliners.

Don't get what all the fuss is about with Ed Sheeren.

Waiting for The Killers to be on iPlayer, I've been out and only found out they were appearing just as their set ended.

Headline act at Glastonbury is a guy playing acoustic guitar singing about relationship problems.

The game is gone.,.
