Glastonbury 2017

Looks like this is their last song. I've got to say I thought their set list at Cheddar a few months ago the day they got announced for Glastonbury was way better.

Under Pressure is one of the greatest songs ever written!

Surely that's not up for debate.

I honestly think Queen are a tad overrated, but there's no doubting UP is one of the greatest stadium songs of all time, and the Foo Fighters did it some great justice.

They've killed it tonight.

How nice it is to see Glastonbury have a decent band headlining for a change rather than Beyoncé or Kuntface West.

Beyonce is amazingly talented. Not my cuppa tea, but an amazing performer/artist.

Yeah I love it. The best way to entertain a load of fecked up people is just to make loads and loads of noise.

I like Kanye West but overall I thought his headliner set was a failure.

Beyonce smashed it though.

Who is left that's big enough to headline that hasn't already? Will Fleetwood Mac ever do it? Elton John? Madonna?

 Exactly mate, and the Foo's certainly do that. I really enjoyed that, they were fecking amazing. Love to see them back again and see the Chili Peppers back again too.

I used to have a major thing for the Chili Peppers, I basically taught myself guitar and bass by learning all their songs. They miss Frusciante I think though, I like some of the newer stuff but he was great to have for the live shows.

It's a credit to them really that they have continued, done well etc; despite losing one of the greatest guitarists in the world a few times along the way.

I would love to see AC DC do the Pyramid Stage.

Highly unlikely to happen, they have their own stage which they take around with them. Also I think I saw somewhere they tend to take the majority from sales of their merchandise which Glastonbury wouldn't agree to.

Meh, I remember when Foo Fighters just played their songs from beginning to end faster than on record and didn't add a load of pointless solos and talking in it. They were great back in 1997 when they played Manchester Apollo and at Reading the year after, but they're rock clichés now.

God I feel old!

For sure, especially considering that as much as I love them Kiedis isn't exactly a particularly blessed singer  Flea is great though.

I always liked how Frusciante never felt the need to play a million notes in a solo or get more technical than was really needed. He's definitely my biggest influence on the electric guitar.

Just watching Warpaint and the drumming is really bad, so out of time.
