Beats me, but it take a specially cruel and twisted man to be able to do that for 8 years against his own brother and keep up a straight face. Any sane person would have trouble keeping their conscience when cheating, let alone with your own brother for 8 years.
Sex addicts needs sex all the time, but the catch it they can do it with just anybody, it doesn't have to be his brother's wife.
I could probably try to understand if it's emotional and actual relationship out of common interest, but if he does it for sex alone than he's truly something else

People can have fantasy about doing it with brothers wife, but would normally never do it.
Not to defend the guy or anything, but after the first month or two the guilt would go away. Part of a coping mechanism that humans have, in dealing with mental trauma. It can influence stuff like this as well. Giggs probably never felt more guilty than when it first started, then his brain would try to justify and rationalise it.
There is a picture doing the rounds on whatsapp of a woman badly beaten and claimed to be Giggs partner. If this is her he ought to be locked up and I hope some scouser hits him twice as hard as hes hit her, if true.

Er don’t swear at me. I’m not downplaying anything. All of you jumped on my post assuming I’m condoning domestic violence. Absolutely not.
We don’t know what happened and I see most people have jumped to the conclusion he’s done a Chris Brown and battered his girlfriend.
They could’ve had a row and she’s accidentally fell down after they’ve been shoving each other, that’s a mistake.

Again it’s not okay that he slept with Rhodris wife, the thing most people don’t know is he was sleeping with her before Rhodri even met her. Doesn’t make it okay that he carried on the affair.

I was just commenting on how did the brother not know part.
Apparently she worked as an estate agent and they used to meet at various empty properties she was arranging sales for. Easy to arrange via text during working hours.
