Doubt you'll come to that view if you spend some time looking into this problem on sites like Twitter.
I don't understand what you mean, but I am a fairly level headed bloke capable of having a balanced opinion. I am also a member of a Jeremy Corbyn support group on Facebook that shout down anybody that posts nasty stuff or fake news, they even get called out if an article is out of date, so as i said, you must be on a completely different group to me.

I just listened to it after you asked me and to be fair there was nothing about Corbyn or Labour in it. I heard wrong, my apologies. Link below
No worries.

I'm pleased the parties have been sensible enough to leave it at one day of ceasing campaigning. We can't allow this nonsense to effect a general election, more than we can avoid.

It is. I found a bit chilling, personally, coming from May, though.

It did imply to me that she wishes to do drastic things, given the chance.

If that's not going to motivate young people to vote what is!
They might become sexually aroused at the prospect of continuing to sell arms to saudi arabia too because it might wipe us out eventually but it brings in a few pennies, they might become so excited that they jizz all over the polling booth.

She mentions the internet 5 times is it? The following section sounds like it comes direct from a party political broadcast & she talks about 'tolerance of extremism'. Who could she possibly mean?

It's quite well done, but the thrust of us as a Nation, us as your Government, is definitely there.

That actually made me LOL when she mentioned that WE have become too tolerant of terrorism when SHE has been in charge of fighting it for 7 years and as i have mentioned a few times she is still selling arms to saudi arabia.......by the way anybody who seeks to defend her record of arms sales can feck off and all.

Both sides spew hate, fake news & manipulate the truth to suit their agenda.

Just read the replies to a Katie Hopkins tweet
I've seen some Labour hate but its nothing compared to what I've seen from the right so far. Maybe I'm not following any alt-left ( is that a thing?) Labour supporters.
You've got people calling for all Muslims to be booted out, funny enough they called me a terrorist sympathiser for saying that ISIS kill significantly more Muslims than non-Muslims
Seems to of occured a few times on this forum with others.

Fair fecking play to Corbyn though, honestly before this election I never paid him any notice and I guess I believed the mainstream agenda against him.
When in actual fact, he seems like a good guy, not gonna find many more honest.
I've never seen a party leader apologise & admit they didnt know the answer.
Most would deflect or lie. Period.

Calling out the Saudis is EXACTLY what needs to fecking happen. Need someone that challenges the norm because lets be honest another tory term will result in cuts & royally fecking the many. Cozying up to Orange Buffoon & Saudis..
If thats what you want? fecking hell.

For starters, lets start with Emma Barnett. Corbyn messed up in the interview he had with her and she was harassed, called all sorts of names and had anti-Semitic remarks posted to her.

One Labour party member was suspended by the party because of one of the anti-Semitic tweets.

I by no means imply its a huge chunk of the Corbyn, but a vocal group who are tarnishing the rest.

fecking hell, Corbyn supporter also happens to be a dick. hardly a headline is it?

Luckily those lovely young tory supporters are all wholesome and pure.

Come on man, both sides have their share of dickheads.

True.

Made my point, so lets move on.

Wonder why people are saying the left is as full of shit as the right...

Any reason why you're attacking the left today? I'm curious.
I'm begrudgingly voting Labour this election, but this thread has become a bit of leftwing wankfest.
I wouldn't want to offend you, as a poster I like, but being disenfranchised right is a shite place to be. Plus I've been spending a full day with the in-laws.

They are never going to replace a 13th century building the best you will get is new glass in the windows.

Yeah I remember the prefab classrooms. We need to make sure that all pupils have a positive environment that enables them to be engaged in learning not chattering at the cold. You don't achieve that by cutting the funding to schools.

I try not to spew vitriol though. I have always said that once you raise your voice you have lost the argument. That doesn't mean that I have never raised my voice though just that I have always regretted doing it.
You are pretty balanced tbf. Few would deny improving school funding is a bad thing.

I've thought for a long time that core things like healthcare, education, policing and pensions need to be taken outside of the five year electoral cycle so they can have proper cross-party long-term planning, rather than regular chopping and changing. Will obviously never happen though.

I can see your point about it being a wankfest, people shout down the right a bit too much in here. I try and remain as objective as I can (which is hard). It's not exactly great being on the left either to be frank.

I'm just sat trying to watch Twin Peaks and its mind fecking me to oblivion.

it's so stupid isn't it? he is committed to keeping trident, but apparently because he is for some reason reluctant to murder millions of people he is somehow a fool?

It's the worst thing about this election.

I mean do any of the people attacking him for his supposed stance on nuclear weapons actually want us to use them? I don't think that they think when they spout such nonsense, because it's like they don't care about hundreds of thousands of people dying and all the ramifications afterwards.

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever why we should have them.

It's not a proper left wing wankfest - there isn't the vicious tearing apart of anyone not quite lefty enough going on.

That's a good idea.

Agreed, we'd be better off without trident.

Oh no, we're now in the same position as 187 countries..

That's a good idea.
I guess it would effectively neuter any government though. We can but dream.

Things are turning more your way. When I had a beer with @Grinner (come back man!), he said he was left (student), right (start earning), left (more comfortable, give something back). That's been my road and not necessarily one I expected.

There's a pattern of journalists who ask tough questions of Corbyn and members of TV audiences who don't make favourable contributions being absolutely vilified on social media.
