Definitely, fecking hell, one blokes lobbing grenades another charging forward with shotgun, they didn't even do the right thing and use the chainsaw bayonet, whats more fun then hacking someone to death?
1 of them was charging towards me with the chainsaw, was miles away I kept shooting the fecker, ran right up to me and chainsawed me... he must have been really close to dropping like.

Yep I have Fifa, im absolutely SHIT in it though, I can only really play games with guns and swords....sad innit. Still will give it a shot.

Been playing this the last couple of days, excellent game, though it doesn't really add anything new from what the first had, it's basically Gears 1 with a new story and new scenery. Just got onto Chapter 2 Act 3 on Hardcore (Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be actually).
Graphics are superb aswell, one of the best looking games I have played.

Finished the game on Normal, brilliant game. I miss the Berserker though, and the hammer of dawn. Spoiler bit: the last scene is hardly sufficient.
Haven't played the multiplayer at all, not even on Gears 1. I should probably give it a go soon, if I can be arsed.
Started on insane now, which is, predictably, insane. Spoiler bit: the driving scene where you're being shellacked to feck is particularly controller-throwingly, knuckle-gnawingly frustrating.
Given up for now, I shall have to return with a stronger spirit and, evidently, a steadier hand.

I've noticed this; everytime I try to play a game online I'm sat there waiting 10-15 minutes before I give up becuase sod-all is happening.
Frustrating.
I'm enjoying it so far, want to get it completed before I go back to college as I have my exams in January so I won't have the chance to play much.
Then I want to complete it again on Insane
Not yet, as mentioned above I'm finding it difficult to connect online. Never had trouble like this with PSN.....

Just finished this on Hardcore, epic game (spot the pun) from start to finish, I was gutted when it ended. The story is excellent, as are the graphics. It really is non-stop action from start to finish - quality game and one of my favourites of this generation.
Slightly annoying is the AI of Dom, he may as well not be there because he is fecking useless, but other than that I dont have any complaints.
Horde is also the most addictive online game, was playing before and we got to the 8th wave before the host started lagging, and then it just became unplayable. We should get a Caf Horde game going.

I know, I rarely even play single player mode on a lot of games, I just go for the online play. I don't bother checking the achievements before I play games so I didn't really think to change the difficulty, just wanted to get stuck in. Completed it on insane co op on my mates xbox mind, that was pretty fun. He's a complete achievement whore though, he once spent a whole online match of COD4 hidden just so he could get the achievement where you go a whole game without dying. Spent 20minutes just lying there. Whats the feckin point? Weirdo. I'm absolutely convinced he buys games he would never usually play just for their achievement points.
My mate has my gears by the way (I'm borrowing his fallout 3), Sunday is a possibility though
I'll be starting my level on insane soon enough. I never understand why people play games on normal or easy difficulties, it ensures you face no challenge whatsoever in the game you are playing, and chances are you will enjoy it less.

I would never do that, though I may go back to a game more often than I would have were it not for achievements/trophies.

Yeah, he's a bit pants. We pretty much had to carry him last time it's the main reason we lost really. Still he's a nice enough lad and I wouldn't want to dent his confidence by not letting him play
