The Shotgun's nerfed? Thank feck for that! Surely thats a good thing considering its all 95% of players used, in GeOW 1 it had the range of a sniper rifle!
True they should have changed the range, but getting chainsawed while your piling in shottie bullets into their chest isn't very fun.
GeoW1 = Shottie Fest.
Geow2 = Chainsaw Fest.
I didn't see anything wrong at all with the shotgun in Geow 1, apart from maybe the range. It's easy to kill people who use shotties constantly with any other gun.
Yeh I heard about the Chainsaw whoring, cant complain really, 75% of my kills from GeOW 1 were from chainsaws lol. And dodging a chainsaw really ought to be more easier than dodging a shotgun sniper.
And Im guessing friends can only play in player matches, not ranked?

I would rather have my whole screen. But I guess theres nothing wrong with having the choice deny yourself.

Thats the one with the meat flag right, he is deadly with his shotgun, it's funny how he kills more efficiently then anyonePlay on a 32 or 40 inch telly on it's fecking mint even on split screen...

Gears of War 2 match-making woes being investigated
By Frank Caron | Published: November 11, 2008 - 09:37AM CT
Xbox 360 owners have been enjoying some glorious, gory action in Gears of War 2 for a few days now. Unfortunately, some gamers playing the multiplayer versus-modes exclusively have suffered from some serious match-making issues, with game waits ranging from 10 minutes to an hour. Thankfully, Epic has confirmed that it is aware of the problem, and the company is working diligently to fix the issue.
Epic let the community know it had received the heads up with regards to the slow match-making on the official Gears 2 forums. Answering the question "Why does it take so long for matchmaking to find me a game" in the Q&A section, Epic's Six Okay let fans know a fix was in the works. "This is an issue that's affecting some folks, and Epic and Microsoft are both looking into it. I'll let you know more details as I have them."
This problem was evident right from the outset. I mentioned how the match-making could potentially leave some waiting for quite a long time. In our full review, though, at the time, I chalked it up to the lack of players. I did some testing overnight, and it seems as though the waits have actually gotten longer post-release; a friend and I spent over 20 minutes waiting for a room. Hopefully Epic and Microsoft can address this problem quickly.

Please don't tell me there is a split screen? WTF?
Anyone want to team for Horde or any other mode for that matter?
I'll horde with you...
