I'd say that's fairly standard. Whenever Neville opens his mouth about United, or Scousers/City for that matter, I try not to pay any attention.Lineker making more sense than Neville, what has the world come to.
They have been for a long time. What worries me is they want to have a say in how the club is run. Feel that Neville etc will be pro Pochettino, bothered me that Rio did an interview with him a couple of weeks backAre the Pundit ex-United players now becoming abit of a issue ?
Same. Neville is probably referring to how Fergie used to run things with an iron fist, he used to have spies out making sure players didn't go out etc... that sort of management style just wouldn't fly these days.Honestly, as long as players don't do anything illegal outside of football, I don't really care what they do.
Seems mental to me now that he used to outright ban social media. Funny how as soon as he left everyone hopped on Twitter, even the club itselfSame. He had absolute control, those days are gone. No manager in world football will have that sort of power ever again.Seems mental to me now that he used to outright ban social media. Funny how as soon as he left everyone hopped on Twitter, even the club itself

He said the board should sell up and goGary's picked the wrong target. He is clearly annoyed that a lot of the players who are broadcasting their lives are the players that have been letting United down. The players who, many suspect and he may know, have been leaking to the media and undermining the coach. I get it.
But Gary who let this happen in the first place?
Blame the Board. These players have been given an inch, they've taken a mile. Yes, maybe there's an issue there. But the culture that's been created at United is why they behave this way. If you have a bone to pick, pick it with the Board that keeps undermining manager after manager and handing out new well paid deals to players, even when those players fail, even when they only play a handful of matches a year. We're the ones giving the players the ability to act like this. I don't blame the players for not taking responsibility onto themselves when the club keeps excusing them of responsibility.
Gary should be raging at our Board.
Honestly, as long as players don't do anything illegal outside of football, I don't really care what they do.
You don’t have to ban things to have control. Just heavily monitor players social media activity and fine or drop them for anything controversial. They’d soon get bored of it and drop it.He had absolute control, those days are gone. No manager in world football will have that sort of power ever again.
They're more likely to get bored of the club and switch teams. You don’t have to ban things to have control. Just heavily monitor players social media activity and fine or drop them for anything controversial. They’d soon get bored of it and drop it.
In my opinion, they are a massive problem in that they have successfully poisoned the fans' relationship towards their team. Are the Pundit ex-United players now becoming abit of a issue ?
Well saidIn my opinion, they are a massive problem in that they have successfully poisoned the fans' relationship towards their team.
They have shaped and are constantly driving home the narrative that this United team is morally failing rather than just not performing quite well enough. I think it's on the whole a wrong, bitter, and fateful narrative and looking at a lot of the posts in this place too many fans have taken to it.
The club needs spokespeople pushing back, problem is the only person who ever speaks is the manager.

Nothing wrong with the latter but I can't defend the formerScholes ate his daughter's toenails and Gary kissed him mouth to mouth in the game vs City.
That's all I can say.
I’m not sure but they they do seem to have the most powerful voice in English football media these days, Neville being top of that tree. Are the Pundit ex-United players now becoming abit of a issue ?
And people say he doesn't love the club. He's a diehard fan he's disgusted at how far we've fallen and he let's his emotions get the better of him at timesNeville's social media is just pages and pages of rant
One could love the club and still have loads of agenda and bias when evaluating things wrong at the club. Not to mention have opinions that doesn't make sense. And people say he doesn't love the club. This sums it up perfectly. The squad was assembled under a manager he wouldn’t criticise. His rants are highly agenda driven & it just stinks of going for low hanging fruit. He is, as you say becoming a parade of AFTV levels. We get it already.I find it hard to take his word on this sort of stuff seriously when he made such a big song and dance about criticizing Ole.
He's always chatted bollox but his hypocrisy was exposed during that period.
For example did he criticize Ole and the Players for taking that holiday after the defeats to Liverpool and City?
For all that "He's a fan and he's angry" talk , do you honestly think that helps your club?
It's like someone on Arsenal Fan TV has a national platform to spread their toxicity and for some reason the vast majority see this as a guy who "Speaks sense".
And finally , If Fergie was still around the first person he would be telling to shut the feck up on social media would be Gary Neville.
God No. I couldn't stand it in Arsenal Forum. You can only hear the voice from one side and it is unbearable. It's like someone on Arsenal Fan TV has a national platform to spread their toxicity and for some reason the vast majority see this as a guy who "Speaks sense".
