Good Craig got his c'nuppins
Yeah he played as a no. 10 in his final season I think.Wasn't he pretty decent playing CAM at Tottenham? I seem to recall him playing there quite a few times and playing quite well.

Incorrect.
Nope.
Go watch Iniesta right now, or any highlights from the previous five or so years.Go watch highlights of Kaka from 2005-07

Yeah i recall him playing through the middle in the final season for Spurs and was often the furthest man forward. Think it was probably only after christmas though, not entirely sure.
Depends on the rest of the team around them. Off the top of my head, looking at their squads and lineups right now, United, Real Madrid and Bayern would take Iniesta in a second, for instance, whereas Atletico, Juve, Spurs would be better off with Kaka.
Hmm, something we could potentially explore if he comes here then? I think we need a player who can cut through teams.
Kaka was definitely more of a goalscorer, just think Iniesta can get overlooked at times because of how star-studded his Barcelona side is, but he has remained an absolute class act for a longer period than Kaka ever managed.Kaka at his best was a much more deadlier player than Iniesta, bigger, stronger, faster, better shooting, 10/10 passing, he probably was a better dribbler too.
The argument shouldn't involve longevity if it's arguing who was better at their absolute peak.Kaka was definitely more of a goalscorer, just think Iniesta can get overlooked at times because of how star-studded his Barcelona side is, but he has remained an absolute class act for a longer period than Kaka ever managed.
Anyway there's little to nothing between them either way, they're both much better than Bale...
Still prefer prime Iniesta to prime Kaka personally. The argument shouldn't involve longevity if it's arguing who was better at their absolute peak.

I dont hate Bale , would love to see him come here and I think he would soon be a firm fan favourite, dispite what a few think of him now.
I just think the price Real will want for him is the big stumbling block.

I'm not saying I prefer Kaka, just that how long Iniesta has been good shouldn't be a factor. I personally prefer Iniesta, which is no slight on Kaka who was remarkable at his prime too.Iniesta is better because he makes each and every players around him better, Kaka was a world class player but he wasn't the creative engine of the team, he was the spark who made everything explode. For me Seedorf-Pirlo were the engine of that Milan team.
Top notch shooting from distance. I wish we waited one year and spend 60m on Bale instead of Di Maria. Now I don't think it will happen.
Yeah, obviously it would be stupid to blame anyone for that. You dont pass up the opportunity to sign a player of Di Maria's quality. Its not our fault he's been a massive disappointment - he doesnt seem to give a monkey's about it either & looks like a player who wants out.
He's made an absolute fortune in his time here & he'll most-likely earn something similar, somewhere else, in no time of his choosing..
I'm bored hearing the burglary excuses too. I gather growing up in Argentina wasnt exactly a piece of piss - a helluva lot worse than a one-off event in Manchester, is my guess..

I agree with you about the burglary thing, definitely overplayed (hell, they broke into my house last year too!).
Yeah and Rooney can play in central midfieldCan bale play at #9? That is the question that we need to ask ourselves. I say yes
Di Maria's performance level was dipping before the burglary too. He was poor against Chelsea and City and Arsenal and then got injured.
Yeah and Rooney can play in central midfield
Say Madrid do let Bale go, who are they likely to replace him with? Someone like Reus? Or will they spunk the cash elsewhere on someone like Pogba?
I just can't see this happening. He seems to give the impression that he wants to stay at Real.
Suppose but can't see it happening tbh. When he signed for Madrid, the rumor was that it would be a 2 to 3 years experience, we are in the timeline. And with the situation he is in at Madrid, there is a chance that for the right price, we sign him.

I'll believe it when he's signed.Did you not get the memo?

I'd like Bale at United I feel he can really stretch teams and he'll be in a team where he can thrive but the question is will it actually happen.
Is it the famed "United in Press" show in which every journo wants to come with a "bang" by bringing up some transfer earthquake?Did you not get the memo?

Nonsense. In his absolute prime, every team in the world would have taken Kaka.
You'd really rather have time-traveling prime Kaka than time-traveling prime Iniesta at United next season playing for LVG?
