You really think he would refuse to play?

Where has this story of him refusing to play to force a move came from anyway?

It was on twitter. I am not surprised if he does. He played us like a violin

Florentino wants Bale to be the new Cristiano , and I think he and we the fans wonder how Bale will be at 100%. At the moment we have only seen flashes of brilliance but I think we all agree that he has not shown his true potential. To be the new leader he has to be better and more decisive than Cristiano, showing it on the field and forget those poor excuses about his position. If he fails after three years( and depending on the results at the end of the season), then yes , I think he would be sold in the summer of 2016 . In any case I would like to see an official offer for Bale this summer, coming from the most reliable newspapers. It would be interesting to see the opinions of associates. On the other hand Madrid has enough problems with MSN and their treble and we can´t afford to lose an important piece, especially when there is no player in the market talented enough to tip the scale

If he were really worried about Barca, Florentino wouldn't have fired Ancelotti and replaced him with the Fat Spanish Waiter.

Can't see this happening either. Would have consequences for Memphis' position as well.

Because di Maria.

And I agree with the second paragraph.

Not really fair to say Di Maria when Di Maria is a different type of player to Bale.

Bale is far more direct than Di Maria, he is also a powerhouse attacking player and works a lot harder than Di Maria.

I can't see that happening, he wants to leave thats obvious but he doesn't strike me as the unprofessional type.

We have to remember that at this point Real reportedly haven't made one bid for him.

Madrid press. The usual muck spreading they do every time Real want a player. Apparently there was a poll and we don't want him and he fears we'll whistle him as well. Typical garbage.

Ah i thought i smelled the whif of Marca/AS bullshit on it.

I wonder how long it will be before they make up those insane stories again where Real and a player sign 'Contracts' that state if Real don't sign the player they have to pay him money and if the player doesn't force the move he has to pay them money.

Refusing to play unless we let him go. We all know Real wants him
We could then fine him. And send to reserves meaning him missing the euros next season.

He ain't a fool. He is also a very professional player.

Memphis-Rooney-Bale

Thats probably the second best attack in the world.
Madrid and Bayern disagrees. All out of Ronaldo, Rodriguez, Muller and Robben are better than anyone in that attack with Lewa/Benzema in the level of Bale but better than the other two.

Probably the best in the league though.

I think we will make a silly offer eventually- great player but I think we will see 100+ million offer. Still doubt we will get him.

Forget it this season lads, its Pedro and that's it Id say.

Never say never.
A huge huge offer will go in. And with him being so unpopular at Madrid, it may be enough to prize him away. He's so right for united, I won't give it up until 3rd september.

I could see Woody offering a world record for him, he's pretty much the exact type of player LvG has been talking about in recent interviews and has the bonus of not needing to adapt to the PL.

Plus it seems with Di-Maria and Rafael leaving we have brought our net spend down to below £20m which means we have enough money to buy Bale and Pedro.

What a coup it would be for Woody to be behind the highest transfer fee ever!

Who, me? I was quoting the other person who said Rooney have been "average" for not just a few matches but a few years!
Obviously he's not been at the top of his game for a few years (last three seasons) but I would still rate him as at least "average" in terms of Premier League standards.

I would rate him above average, last 3 seasons:

Fergies last season and RVP was main man
Moyes disaster season Rooney playing midfield in a team with no direction.
LVG new system and philosophy, was on a good scoring run before being shifted to midfield again.

Anywho back on topic, I would love Bale at United, he knows the EPL and would fit in perfectly at United. We don't have white hankies and he would become an instant hit. The fans in Madrid hate him, his team mate is a selfish glory hunter (I do still love him though) and to top it off he has FSW as a manager, bet he wishes he went to United and Moyes now.

Yep, we just need to get Bale done.

Speechless. A few years. Average. Wow.

It's a debate for the Rooney thread itself, but by the standards of Wayne Rooney he has been average. He made a great start to the Moyes season but he is nowhere near the standard we expect him to be.

When does liga start? I think the end of the season came at the right time for bale last year, as soon as they get going again he will soon remember how much he's hated

With Pedro coming in, there's no chance we're getting Bale.

Just the usual paper talk.

That´s 140 m€ , if they could increase the offer to 160m€... it´s only a dream but Neymar release clause is 190m€:devil:
