He's right. Sometimes you can protect a player when he's in a bad spell by taking him off or not playing him. Even Ronaldo isn't immune from whistles so the fans were never going to go easy on Bale(or any other player). Perez's insistence on always playing Bale did more harm than good for Bale. He could have used a little spell on the sidelines, recharge his batteries or whatever and come back stronger.That's taking man-management to whole new levels..

Never again. Ancelotti probably got an earful from Perez. Played 90 mins of every game he started after that, apart from one or two he was unfit and started on the bench.

Well last year Benzema and Ronaldo alone got 26 assists between them, more than our whole team would probably get so for bale to get 9 assists and 13 goals in a season were he played shite (apparently) is pretty good going.
