That's taking man-management to whole new levels..
He's right. Sometimes you can protect a player when he's in a bad spell by taking him off or not playing him. Even Ronaldo isn't immune from whistles so the fans were never going to go easy on Bale(or any other player). Perez's insistence on always playing Bale did more harm than good for Bale. He could have used a little spell on the sidelines, recharge his batteries or whatever and come back stronger.

Yeah, but Ancelotti pulling him off?

If you were the manager - would you repeatedly pull him off?
I wouldn't. I probably would maybe give him a break, as in put him on the bench for a couple of games. Repeatedly pulling him off cant be good for confidence either.

You are surely on a WUM now?:lol:

Now Benitez is trying to play him as a "media punta", number 10, and is being a total disaster, the guy has very good things but to play in small spaces is not one.Hopefully he (and the president) will understand that he has to go to the left/right and stop complaining

Lol no. Im merely saying there has to be a balance. Can't go overboard either way.
Agree. It already is a messy business to begin with, going overboard would hurt some serious merchandise!

I'm not so sure about that man. It wouldnt bother me gettin repeatedly pulled off.

What about you though - would gettin constantly pulled off affect you in a negative sense, or would it not give you a lift?

The most overrated player in the world. His record against 'big' teams is horrible. James is way better player than Bale could ever imagine.

Id be frustrated for sure. But i guess we're all different.

If that's the case then why won't Madird sell him to us? We'd no doubt pay a world record fee if there was even a sniff of them selling.

Poor Benitez...imagine having to fulfil unrealistic expectations. I personally think Bale's going to have another bad season.

Would you want to get pulled off by Carlo though RHD?

Good question Stevo. Carlo seems to be very heavy-handed, so it would probably hurt at first tbh man..

Yeah i know what you mean mate but once you got over the initial shock and disappointment of Ancelotti pulling you off you would realize it's not the end of the world. Every time it happened after that it would be easier.

I dig ya brother.

Gettin pulled off by Ancelotti wouldnt be the end of the world. He's been round the block & no-one dicks him around. It would most definitely have a happy ending too..

And he would give you the eyebrow while doing it

Despite the fact that he never made 15 assists in a season before?

Or are you saying 15 assists in his career for us?

He had 9 and 12 assists in his last two seasons at Real, maybe optimistic but hardly outrageous to predict he would get 15 at United.

Yeah, his record against big teams is so bad the best he could muster was scoring the winning goal in the champions league final and a wonder goal against Barcelona to win the Copa Del Rey.

He has now become underrated due to opinions like this.

What about if we buy Harry Kane and he scores 25 goals and gets 5 assists for half the price, which one would you take?

At this moment I'd still take bale because he is more proven and has better experience to handle a big club like United there's no predicting what kane will do next year he's only had one amazing season prior to that he was nothing at all.

Well last year Benzema and Ronaldo alone got 26 assists between them, more than our whole team would probably get so for bale to get 9 assists and 13 goals in a season were he played shite (apparently) is pretty good going. Bale would literally be top dog at United our best player by far, pretty much everything would go through him much like it does for hazaeprd at chelsea and sanchez at arsenal. It's not really stupid to suggest he'd get 15goals and 15 assists for us.

That goal in CL final was made by ADM, even Bendtner would have scored that open goal.

And the goal against Barca was that he outran a player, he's very fast I will give you that. But people tend to forget that Pinto was the keeper and Bartra was playing with a hamstring injury. But why listen to what I say, check the numbers for yourself.

Just saw who you support, nevermind :wenger:

What does it got to do with my views of Bale? I consider James a much better player than Bale. And those numbers include many players, not just Bale. But feel free to believe whatever you like.

If bales playing a load of balls, the manager shouldn't be afraid of making him come off the pitch. Being a good man manager I hear Carlo wasn't afraid of pulling him off, but Rafa is different, as a manager he sucks
