Just got subbed off for Vasquez against Valencia and didn't look at Zidane when coming off = OMG HE'S COMING TO UNITED.

Am I doing it right?

They are desperate to flog him off, Asensio has been comming real good. his two goals were sublime.

Go back to tottenham bale,

He's got no chance of being a key player for them with Isco maturing and Asensio bursting onto the scene now. Wasting his peak years as a rotation player would just be stupid.

Genuine question: do you still believe we're seeing Bale's peak years, or do you think Madrid rushing him back from injuries over recent years has robbed him of that bit extra?

I think he's declined.

And I believe he's lost a bit of pace.

And he's got injury problems.

I think it'd be a massive risk if it came to fruition.

£92m , if Asensio has a buyout clause we should activate that instead.
£75 million, and Arsenal interested, according to one paper.

Arsenal have no chance, says Balague, wasting his breath

He's gonna waste a year on the bench at Real before realising he might actually have to move. His injury record is horrible as well. It's looking bleak for him tbh.

Let's say it's the latter part. It doesn't mean he could shake off the injuries eventual. Injuries can take some physical attribute away, that has been the case for many players. Regular starter for top clubs in PL requires peak physical condition. Motivation is another problem given Bale doesn't want the move.

Don't think Bale has declined more he's the sort of player who needs to be the main man to get the best out of him, and at Madrid that just won't happen.

If we had him and played him just off of Lukaku he'd be devastating.

It's so obvious Bale isn't coming this transfer window.
Media just have to do their job, getting people's attention.

I've not watched a whole lot of Madrid in the past year but for Wales in the Euro's he was as good as ever. I'd hesitate to use his time at Madrid as evidence of his decline as he's always been the odd one out for them, IMO. Individually played well on many occasions but he's always looked awkward and laboured to me. Definitely possible he's in decline with his reliance on physical assets and the number of injuries he's had though. He'd definitely be a risk at that price but I'd be very happy if we took that risk, personally.

A lot of stick to Bale, from press and fans. Palomar (Marca) writes in his monday article "5 days to sell Bale" (to get an striker) http://www.marca.com/blogs/nomegustanloslunes/2017/08/28/cinco-dias-para-vender-a-bale.html.
The Asensiomania is hitting hard between press and fans. I think that no one believes that he can suddenly overcome himself, become a leader or do better than Asensio.

If he accepts the rotations he may end the season being important but at this point in his career I don´t know if he should accept a secondary role.

Whoever buys him would be getting a player in decline imo. He's clearly not the player he was in his final year at Spurs or during his first couple in Madrid. When you factor in the high transfer fee, insane wages, and injury risk - it wouldn't really make much sense, especially as it would at times almost certainly freeze out Martial and Rashford.

You can now get Bale and Mueller on the cheap. Masterclass from Woodward to wait until the end of the season sale

If there's anyone around who would be a Torres to Chelsea style flop - It's Bale. With his injuries and the type of player he is (all muscular injuries and him relying on his pace), it's inevitable that he's going to decline pretty soon, and I'd guess it would be a rapid decline. For 100m.... Feck no.

Bale was ordinary in the Real game and so was Benzema. Asensio is definitely the one to replace CR7. They won't need Hazard after all. We don't need Bale. I would be happy to get Mahrez here. We've got a good atmosphere and having Sanchez or Bale would just increase the number of egos in the dressing room.
