Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I hope so, Robb took forever and got nowhere. Someone needs to attack the Lannisters.

I'm looking forward to seeing Stanis going after the White-Walkers, should be epic.
Agreed. It will be epic. I can defo see Khaleesi vs the Lannisters happening this season.

To stay up and watch this or aquire it tomorrow morning?
Well depends how good your stream is. I'd prob rather download and watch it in HD (which is what I'll do tomorrow after uni).

I got sky so that's not an issue, though i'd most likely be watching it on Sky Go on my laptop if i was to watch it tonight.

And I can't see Dany crossing the sea and starting the war so soon. Something like that seems perfect to end the season on though, with her war set up for season 5.

Irrespective of what happens in the books, people will get tried of daenerys' storyline if she does not reaches the mainland by the end of this season.

I saw a promo image of John Snow and Daenerys Targaryen with Targaryen smilling and holding a long sword up to him (although Snow was smiling too). It could have just been a friendly promo shot of the actors but it made me wonder if Targaryen might end up in direct fights with Snow and the nights watch.

That would be an interesting twist.

I disagree, I've enjoyed seeing her get to grips with the politics of it all and grow in confidence. It's interesting watching her grow and I can't work out if she is going to be a good character or whether her mind is going to be poisoned by the power her dragons give her. I also think that as much as Jorah obviously loves her, his purpose (whether he knows it or not) is to act as a moral compass and to make sure the good that is in her is what keeps making the decisions for her so she is a great Queen that looks after people rather than another power hungry ruler. Daario Naharis is obviously going to be the devil on her shoulder to Jorah's angel and I can see there being big issues there as she's obviously attracted to him too...

I got a 3 months trial with HBO just in time for this. They also had reruns for the past seasons and I'm recording them all on full HD

Great post. Khaleesi doesn't necessarily need to assault the Lannisters just yet. If her "side story" is interesting enough, we'll be invested in it. Meanwhile she can grow, gather her strengths and wait for the perfect time. It will be epic, but don't give the fans what they want too soon.

Haha tell me about it. Nothing worse then studying with a bunch of people who all watch every show that is on TV and do nothing else but talk about it between classes and if you pick the wrong class they will even talk about it during the class.
Haha been there. The way to and from uni can be dangerous as well, London's fecking packed

Yeah I know the feeling someone ruined the matrix for me with their big mouth

Good post, I agree to an extent, I have enjoyed watching Daenerys grow, too, but I do think they've dragged it out long enough now, it's time for some action and hopefully we'll see that at some point this season.

Yeah thought about the same. But maybe I'll just try and get to sleep early, then wake up early and watch it in the morning.

I'm having the same debate in my head. I have work tomorrow and I'm trying to figure out which one would make it less difficult to get through the day tomorrow. If I'm not asleep at 2am I might just get up and watch it but I think I'd be better off getting up at 7 to watch it on record.

Either way I'm looking forward to it.

Great time to be visiting relatives in Devon or a week with no internet access or sky :(

Might just watch the first an second episode back the back next week.

I find it's much better doing that than having to wait a week. I watched all of season one on dvd back to back and it was great. I'm gutted I can't do it with this season. :(

I hope there are some Bolton scenes tonight and some Tywin/Joffrey scenes as well. I loved seeing Tywin put Joffrey in his place in season three.

In one of the trailers for season four, it how's Ramsey Snow and Roose Bolton in some stronghold, which looked suspiciously like Winterfell, so they will inevitably be huge features of the new season. Not to mention, Bolton has just been made Warden of the North.

Expect he'll be in the first episode in some capacity.
