Nobody watch this yet then? Another slow episode, did enjoy it though and seemed like quite a few things were being set up.

Yeah, it was a good episode but not a classic game of thrones episode or anything. They seemed to be setting up a few plots because plenty were sealed at the end of last season.

Good to see a fellow Bosnian around here.

Yea, it's only the second episode so it was never going to a classic episode. I like the fact that Jaime Lannister got captured again and the Arya story line is getting good!

All that matters is that there was Arya :D

Really good episode, great pace so far when you consider how many characters there are as well as how many stories/plots etc etc there is. Arya is still the greatest character and I demand you all bow to her!

I really enjoyed it. So many little things happen in this compared to say....TWD.

Jamie Lannister just gets better and better. More Arya and Jamie, I say.

What was that torture method they were using on yer man? A screw into the foot or was the screw tightening the blocks on his foot? Either way, feck that.

Yeah Jamie is great, the way he plays with the oafette is hilarious.

Really enjoyed that episode, lots of set up but they keep a good pace and the dialogue is always sharp and I like where it seems to be going with Bran too.

Diana Rigg's character seems like fun but as is the case with everyone on the show I'm guessing she can't be trusted.

Natalie Dormer (Margery) is a weird one, the more I look at her though the more I think she's gorgeous.

Yeah she looks stunning at some points, and a bit weird at others. I think it's because of her nostrils.

A lot of them seem to look better on the show than in pictures of real life. Sophie Turner is by far the naturally prettiest. Am I allowed to say that? She's 17 so I am aren't I? Shit.

I think they are breaking his ankle/foot/toes

Good episode, gathering pace nicely. Arya and Jaime are great though I was a bit underwhelmed with the Boltons sigil. Not that I had some magnificent banner in mind.

Can't wait to see the Blackfish

Use the characters names!

Whoever plays Ayra is a very good actress.

There are a few too many storylines going on for them to get the flow of the episodes right at the moment.

The fact there has been almost as much Samwell as Arya so far this season is more than a bit disappointing. Hopefully, Sansa's storyline can get put on the back burner for a few episodes now.

Jaime and Brienne's scenes were excellent, as was the Catelyn scenes, especially the one about Jon Snow.

Seems like there are too many storylines to keep up with in an episode format. Though I might just be saying that because I was distracted hen I watched last night's episode.

I think you're right. I thought the first ep was going to be setting up the season but now they've spent 2 eps doing it and really haven't even developed all the story lines yet. And with such few episodes per season I don't see how they'll all get sorted out very well.

I've not really thought that, not since the beginning when I was struggling telling one character from another. I think they balance it quite well. I enjoy all the separate stories as much as each other too.

Brilliant episode.

Jamie is fantastic, really hope we see more of him this season. Glad to have Arya back on screen, she looks to be in a bit of trouble. Not sure if Bran's new friend can be trusted or not but he seems like an ally. The granny had some good lines but I would not trust her.

I'd like to see some Whitewalkers soon, they can't all have disappeared so quickly!

Robb also needs to get a move on, he seems to have gotten no-where ever since capturing (then losing) Jamie.

I wonder who is holding Theon captive?

Sansa? What? No way. I think shes one of the worst. But a friend of mine has bumped into her a few times

Whatever it was, it was nothing compared to that rat bucket torture from last season. That was sick.

Anyway, I enjoyed that episode. I don't trust Margaery and her grandmother, I think they're just using Sansa. Catelyn's scene talking about Jon Snow was great. It's a bit weird seeing the Stark kids growing up. Bran looks much older, Arya looks a little bit older and maybe Shae is a midget but I'm sure Sansa looked about 3 foot taller than her in one scene. No dragons but that was given plenty of time last week so they had to focus on other people like Arya and Theon.

I fecking hate Theon. But still have no idea who got him. His own men struck him down. The question is did they take him back or just drop him off somewhere along the way because if Robb Stark's General's bastard who went to Winterfell late found him, then we would have heard about it.

I think Finchy turned Theon over to the bastard in exchange for safe passage back to the Iron Isles. Now the northerners are taking revenge for the razing of their capital by torturing him.

Oh...I have no idea who he is.

God damn it, I thought I was getting a pretty good handle on who was who before the end of Season 2. The break has messed it up on me.

Bolton is the bald guy who brings Robb the messages about Riverrun and Winterfell. Has a bastard named Ramsey Snow, who I doubt we will see in the series.

Bastards take the name of the region their father comes from as to negate them from lines of inheritance but identify who may have sired them.

It's one of those things, there are so many characters it's hard to keep track.

It's mentioned in conversation at the end of season 2 and had a minor refresher in passing in the latest episode when Robb is talking to Catelyn he mentions that Bolton's bastard reported from Winterfell that it had been destroyed. They haven't really characterised the Stark bannermen (except maybe the guy who lost his fingers) effectively due to time limitations.

He's definitely in the hands of the northerners because his sister is trying to rescue him.

But if he had turned him to Robb Stark's General's bastard wouldnt they have heard of it? Remember Katelynn Stark asking Robb if he had heard anything from Greyjoy and he said no? Was he lying?

Can someone tell me why is this show so highly rated? I mean, I have never gotten around the hype of it.

Cue: There are certain wankers on Facebook harping about it. Irritating.

I feel since it is different from anything that is on TV today. Every show is either a drama with cops and guns or a comedy. This is different with swords, dragons, kings, alliances, wars etc. Plus the books are famous. I think those are the fans that are mainly driving everything, similar to Harry Potter. If you read the books, then you are a big fan of the series and if you aint then not so much. But this show and Lord of the Rings, I havent read the books, but I have enjoyed the TV show and the movies.

Honestly, I haven't seen it. I have the first two seasons, but like I said, I couldn't get myself to watch it for some reason.

But from whatever I read on the Interwebz about it, I just think the series is just an excuse for watching ancient people having sex in ridiculous outfits. And with a story intertwined, people can also differentiate it from porn.

Considering it's based on some of the largest and most acclaimed fantasy novels ever written, you're probably way off the mark on this one. Probably.
