Daenerys once again coming across like a bit of an arsehole and being completely in the wrong.

I dunno, Tyrion was a bit stupid to be fair.

"Hey babe, I know you can't have kids (pity) and you're a bit of a hot head (lolzy that time of the month again huh) but we should probably work out who rules after you once you're dead!"

It's a completely fair point to make. Right now her grip is tenuous because, as has been acknowledged, if she were to die then there's nobody to take her place. Selecting an heir would help to create a sense of stability. Especially if she's acknowledging herself that, biologically, she's never going to have an heir.

The feck is Tyrion talking about long term when she hasnt even taken the throne yet?

Surely it's always wise to be planning for the long-term? Sort out simple potential future problems if you can.

Yes as soon as she takes the throne talk about all that. She is far away from taking the throne right now.

Watching it, they did have a fire when they were on the rock

Also that scene with the Night King and the Dragon. Wow.
The roars from the other dragons. So sad.

The Winterfell stuff at the moment is absolute nonsense unless there's something more going on.

Noticed that on this watch. Drogon's scream when Viserion is going down :(.

I enjoyed this episode even more the second time despite knowing what was going to happen. Strange feeling but it could be cost I saw a few more things this time.

So good.

The Winterfell stuff was a bit out of place with the rest but I imagine/hope there's more going on. As currently Sansa and Arya are fecking things up. Creppy Bran to the rescue?

Following my timeline on twitter watching this show vs this forum, I see how much more critical this forum is.
Then again, based on this forum (as has been mentioned before by another poster), Rick and Morty and the Wire are the only 2 good shows that exist.

The trailer for the next episode was nice - didn't give away a whole lot of the plot and I've to look at it again once it makes it way to YouTube.

I wont be surprised if someone is not happy why they didn't show the white walkers going down below the icy water and wrapping chains around the dragon to pull it back up.

You mean, "BUT WHERE DID THEY GET THE CHAINS FROM?"

It is what it is I guess. Honestly, I think its easier to have discussion on twitter than in here for certain reasons. Problem with twitter is some random person can get involved and post a spoiler.

So is Jon heading to Kings Landing then? If that was the case why did they send an invitation to Sansa...?
I was thinking it might have been a ploy by LF. Maybe he knew Sansa would send Brienne to KL and that way she is completely unprotected?

Where was it? Did I miss something at the end of the episode?

 True that. I went two steps ahead. First the chains, then the diver and finally the dragon.

Why isn't the Night King just chucking wights over the Wall?

The bigger question is why he chose to throw his javelin at the airborne dragon instead of the one that was grounded with a number of important people on it. Maybe he just wanted to show off some of his fancy skills.

Why did Benjen sacrifice himself? Surely two people could have rode on that horse?

He saw titanic and saw that only one person can get on something similar to that size. He was the Leo to Jons Kate Winslet.

The same question could have been asked of Ramsey as to why he chose to shoot his arrow at the Wun Wun instead of Jon Snow standing next to him.
