Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

They've hinted at something like that seasons ago...

No Night King but a destroyed, frozen King's Landing.

Snow or ash?

Given his age and how long its taking him to write the books (and lets face it he is not exactly a picture of health) there must be a realistic possibility that he never ends the books

This has happened - for any fans of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

I think it's almost a certainty that he won't finish them. He's already outlined the exact plot though so someone will be lined up to finish it.

Here's a thought on our friend Littlefinger and the cards he still has left to play. He knows the role Sansa played in getting Ned killed. Anyone besides me think he will use it to control Sansa, providing she and the other remaining Starks survive the Bastard Bowl?

Wait, what role did she play? She asked Joffrey not to kill him and he did, was there more to this story that I don't remember? (totally possible)

They used her as leverage to make Ned confess treason.

I think she also gave away some intel to Cersei, making it easier to plan ahead. Cant remember very well.

Anyway, the lannisters take over had been already planned and in motion for a while already...

In the end, only Ned is to blame for his death. Should have flew KL to the north right away after Robert's death, like Remly did. Ned lacked of a cunning mind.

Yeah, but it hardly makes her responsible, she was just a naive child - and I don't see a way that this information of her "involvement" is going to be a bargaining chip for Littlefinger, like @JustAFan suggests (unless there was something that we both don't remember?)

Yeah unless im missing something (totally possible), i dont see littlefinger having leverage over Sansa.

I demand an explanation.

After Ned discovered that the children weren't Roberts, he planned to have his daughters returned to Winterfell but Sansa went to Cersei and told her of the plans which tipped her off as to when he would be making a move against her. This gave Cersei time to plot. I'm not sure anybody would hold that against Sansa though, especially not Jon.

Without Sansa's, in a desperate attempt to keep her fairy tale of becoming the Queen alive, rushing to let Cersei know what was going on, things might have turned out differently. But then again maybe not, certainly Littlefinger and Varys knew what was coming, but whose side would they have played on had Cersei been kept in the dark? Nowhere do I claim Sansa is solely responsible for Ned's death, but she played a role in how it all turned out for him.

Littlefinger, a master manipulator, certainly would be able to twist this around to make it seem like Sansa was responsible for letting the information out, and it would be just like him to do so. He is quite adept at this. So can he spin her part in all of it in order to bend Sansa to his will? I would not put it past him.

mmm yeh i don't know... i doubt Sansa will bend to his willy anytime soon. Her * still in pain.

Trrrmmm tssssss

100% in under 90 seconds. Would have been quicker but I spent a good 15 seconds trying to spell Daenerys.

Unpopular choice.

Even made up offset she's not hot to me. Still guess it's just personal taste, I said Natalie dormer was gorgeous and was torn to shreds by quite a few on here for it.
What? Natalie Dormer is a bomb shell. I am just unhappy she doesn't undress as often as Melissandre or the Unburnt Tits

Who are those people who the Hound killed (the guys who were being hung)? The guy in yellow looked a lot like the new king of Iron Islands.

Blokes who killed his group. They were the one's who came asking for extortion in the episode before.

That would explain why he wasn't so good for France. Must have been pissed off by the Arya storyline too.

It's definitely Shae. I think it might be back in season 1 when she met Tyrion in the Lannister army camp judging by the background. Either Tony is way behind or he's doing a rewatch.

It's Shae, her scene with Tyrion, you can see it in the video

What's the spoiler policy in the French squad?

GOT must seem so tame compared to the stories he hears from Benzema and De Gea.

Was this an actual scene that aired or just some fan's rendering? If it's the former, could you give some context please?

Yeah its daenerys having a vision, dreaming, in the house of the ¿undying?

In the previous page of the thread the youtuve scene was posted. In spoilers i dont know why

Remember season 2 - WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?!!!!

Vid:

Edit: As mentioned above, its also on the last page. And yeah, not sure why its in spoilers.
Damn you @George Owen

I have a theory on that scene based on what ive read on here (though its probably already been said lol):

I think this is her fate we are seeing. Dany heads to KL, but its destroyed before she gets there (based on what others have speculated in this thread which makes sense - Tommen dies or makes Cersei snap, she burns the feck out of the KL, but is killed by Jamie (but Jamie is too late to stop KL from burning to the ground - and Jamie, Cersei and Tommen all die). Shes too late to here.
Meanwhile the next place she goes is the Wall (which we kinda see in the scene). And she has to help stop the Whitewalkers. She manages to help, but ends up dying in the end (hence her seeing Drogo/her (Unborn?) son again).
Bittersweet stuff for her character, she kinda is a hero but only in death.

Through Jon Snows heritage, hes basically the only one who can take the throne (Snow representation at KL / Throne?).

Also think its both Ash and Snow we see, where its a transition between KL > The Wall (Castleblack)

Also I was watching a few GoT clips from previous season. The one where they find the direwolves pups and the Stark kids get one. Was funny when Jon Snow picked up baby Ghost and Theon says "Its a freak" to the killed big Direwolf.

Right so I'm finally caught up on the show and was hoping a few questions could be answered.

1) How did the High Sparrow accumulate so much power? He just turned up one day and started arresting royalty with no consequences.

2) Why are the White walkers taking this long to get to the wall? And how come the King was able to touch Brann while he was warging, I thought he wasn't physically there - as proven when he says 'Father' and young Ned turns around to find nothing there.

3) What do the faceless men actually do? Is it literally just an assassination/euthanasia group? If so, why was Arya so keen to get there in the first place?

fecking Sky showing an advert for tonight's episode during every interval break  You don't need to advertise episode 9 of GoT! cnuts.
