Can someone remind me which of the original dire wolves are still alive and where they are?

Can someone remind me which of the original dire wolves are still alive and where they are?

If memory serves me well:

Ghost is still with Jon Snow at Castle Black,

Summer is chilling out with Bran during his training under the Three-Eyed Raven,

Shaggydog is still with Rickon and Osha somewhere in the North,

Nymeria hasn't been seen after Arya sent her away following the incident with Joffrey in Season 1 when everyone was still alive in the show. Presumed to be alive but roaming in a place (Riverlands?) not friendly to dire wolves.

Lady was killed by Robert Barartheon's order but only after Cersei had drove him mad about it,

Grey Wind was a victim of the Red Wedding alongside Rob Stark and his mother.

I was watching the Tunnel last night and the thought crossed my mind that Stannis has really got a thing for European witches.

I think the idea is that this thread is kept to what has been aired, no inside info on casting, future episodes etc. That said, your post was harmless.
ALL speculation or talk about future episodes must ALWAYS go in spoiler tags.

Failure to do so will result in

a) thread bans
b) getting bummed by redsky

That is all.

One of the things I spoilered was speculation regarding a future episode. Another regarding an officially released trailer and an opinion on it. That said, I'll just delete it. Don't want to add more controversy to it. I don't want to go into the other thread either seeing as I have never read the book.

future content discussion is allowed as long as it's in spoiler tags with a warning, so there was nothing wrong with his post.

There are barely any spoilers regarding the show to be found there. We discuss details and stories that you don't know about but most of them will never be in the show anyway. The main plot is more or less at the same place in the books.

Mostly we just moan about how shit the show is and how paranoid you lot are.

He should know that already, he posted in the thread yesterday!

lol,
Yeah, I pretty much do. It really doesn't bother me as much as it does others since I am already more aware of some of the fan theories proposed for the book and the show. I still don't know much of the details in the book though. So I still venture there to read about story arcs that are unlikely to be revisited on the show...

That said, discussions and speculation after a show are much more fun here...since pretty much noone has a clue and we are all just guessing...which is very fun to read....

I don't get how hard it is not to be a dick.

Surely this thread is just for the tv show, and any speculation regards to if you've read the book or something on the internet (as these last few pages of 'theories' show), should be kept out? I'm not fussed myself about getting into speculation about what's actually happened on the show, that's fair game to me. But clearly there are people going beyond that and then using little scenes in the show to justify what they have figured out, all by themselves no less.

There's still a few things from the books that can be spoiled for the viewers, but also there's plenty of 'theories' that come from elsewhere that people should just not post in here about. If you know such things, there's really no reason not to be in the book thread by now anyway and leave this one to the tv show on it's own.

It's really not hard to grasp.

This is the only thread in the Entertainment Forum in which people consistently fail to understand the spoiler policy and even argue back against it.

Very amusing.

Dunno about the others, but I don't think I broke any rules. Cina confirmed it too. I don't know how that's a failure to understand spoiler policy...

I'm speaking generally, not to anyone in particular. It's been like it for years. Literally just this thread

The person who called you out for breaking spoiler policy when you hadn't broken spoiler policy failed to understand the spoiler policy.

Don't forget Sir Pounce in Tommen's room. I hope he gets more screen time soon...

No wonder they have left Rickon out. His story would take too long to tell. On a serious note weren't they south of the wall or at least heading south of the wall.

Yes, you're right. They're heading towards a land whose Lords remain loyal to the Starks for safety. If Ramsey tries to become the new Warden of the North, not only by name, the show will probably focus on the events in the North and i guess we'll see Rickon again.

I hope not, at least not until Margaery returns to the royal bedroom.

Maisie Williams (Arya) was on radio 1 this morning and said Rickon does appear later in season 6.

erm, can someone remind me how Arya got blind again ? And why she has to repeat this whole process of last year ?

As a punishment for murdering that member of a delegation from kings landing

He was one of the names on her hit list - was his name trant? Is he the one who killed her tutor in sword fighting?

Either way she slit his throat and was punished/tested

Yeah Meryn Trant. That was a great death. Loved it.
