Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Most of them have some big part to play in the future, not just Arya. Don't know how you can call her so cliche, I can't think of many characters like her in other stories, she's definitely the more interesting of characters anyway.

I think the show is starting to buckle under the weight of trying to follow the books. The series has been relatively dull and difficult to follow and the characters are not progressing at all. Another season like this and it may not make it to the end.

Dear oh fecking dear

Same old story with some people on here, happens with so many shows. Not balls to the wall episodes every single week and instead really good writing with proper build up and suddenly it's 'dull' and 'meh'.

Everything is progressing brilliantly. Most stories and plots are moving along at a really good pace and will certainly benefit the show in the long run.

I'd echo some of the stuff regarding Jamie, quite amazing how he's gone from being the biggest cnut in the show (well, alongside Joffrey and Cersei) to actually being a bit likable right now.

Arya still remains the greatest thing. Ever.

I agree about the building up part, they're not rushing things which is a good thing, but do you really feel there's a lot of good writing?

Not the best episode. Like others have said not much has happened lately in the big picture.

And Sansa, ugly..... :wenger:

Game of Thrones meets The Walking Dead in terms of plot development. People keep listing how the stories have moved forward but they haven't at all really.

Danearyeysys is still floating around the desert, has found another city of slaves she wants to free. YAWN. You just did this in the last 4 fecking episodes!

Theon, who cares about Theon? No one.

Jaime's story nearly gets moving on again so we could see what happens when his family see he's fecked and his hand has been chopped off but Nooooo, he had to run back to the same fecking place and now we have to start over again.

House Midget is still running around doing midgety things.

The Wildlings, who have been marching through fields of snow, are now marching through fields of grass. YAY.

Robb Stark takes 2 years to form a battle plan that might actually work but now he has a baby Chaplin so now I imagine he'll be distracted by baby talk and changing nappies, making up formula for the baby etc. FATHERHOOD YAY.

Hmm...who else is there?

Oh yea, lemme see...

Sansa...poor, idiot child Sansa. All the sex going on in Westeros and she ends up with dwarf penis HAHA. Not a whole lot to say about her because she hasn't did anything except mope about for 3 seasons. Awesome.

Arya, I like Arya. What happened to her last, she got kidnapped by the Hound? Not sure how that's going to play out but I'm sure the next 3 episodes will be spent listening to her tell the Hound how much of a meany he is for cutting her da's head off. Fair criticism but doesn't exactly make great tv.

Brann! I forgot about him. He's been tripping balls with his other new mate. Personally I think Hodor has been picking and cooking magic mushrooms and they've been getting high as feck. That's probably how Hodor got brain damage in the first place. Again, I have no idea where they're trying to go with that. Maybe nowhere. Probably nowhere.

Sansa is ugly and broad shouldered.

Arya is cliched and boring.

Happy?

She's easily one of the prettiest.
The fittest is Robb's mrs though, then Tyrion's bird. They basically look the same though.

I'm not that taken with her facially, but I could look at her bum all day!

I wouldn't mind seeing the targaryen chick riding my dragon....;)

I would say to her,

"Hey Danereyryeres, you like dragons right?"

And she'd be all like " I fecking love dragons".

And I'd be all like "Cool, 'cos I'm gonna be dragging my balls across your face later".

The best thing about this show at the moment is seeing who Charles Dance/Tywin Lannister makes his bitch for the episode.

Speculation:

I reckon he's gonna die. It seems like they're really making him look powerful so it'd be a big shock moment but wouldn't take away from the main stories too much. It won't be for a while though as they'll play on the current predicament he's caused for his kids for a bit first.

I'd love him to be the one to kill Joffrey though.

He can't kill Joffrey because then the Lannisters wouldn't hold the right to the throne seeing as everyone thinks Joffrey is the rightful heir. Tywin seems to value power more than anything although that would be pretty cool if he did kill him.

Cersei has two other children that people think are Robert's. We haven't seen the boy since season 1, and the girl has been sent off to marry by Tyrion, if I remember correctly

I wonder if Tyrion will manage to marry Sansa before Jamie gets back and forces his daddy to pay his debts. It'd be funny if Sansa gets sent back to her mum carrying a midget under her arm.

Well you actually have in one very short but important scene. Season 2 Episode 9 - The rains of castamere. Cersei comes dangerously close to poisoning him on the Iron throne when she thinks Stannis has won the war.

Think she's gonna be 18 soon. Looks like the imp will the first one on the show to reveal her body completely.
