Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Cersei will be very interesting next season. She'll want unholy vengeance against King's Landing and Dorne plus she has FrankenMountain to do her bidding.

Yo wtf, that was just bullshit! I'm on board that Jon will be resurrected by Melisandre, he has to be. I mean, he's just too important to the whole story. Ned & Robb's death made sense, but this, nah, nah, feck this.

Any book readers, please PM and tell me if this happened in the books. I'm literally fuming here. I said I'd rage quit the show if they killed Jon or Tyrion.

The Kings Landing Lannisters are probably my favorites now. Hope they mess up those damn monks now that they have Vidic as a kings guard.

They sure killed off a lot of story lines in one episode.

Please for the love of God I need answers. I can't have this lingering for a fecking year.

That was some froggernockle bullshit. I knew that this season had jumped the shark but this last episode took the cake. It'd be interesting to know if Jon Snow's death was a departure from the books. Btw, where the feck were the wildlings?? Only two redeeming things about the finale were Cersei's tits and Arya's scene with Meryn Trant.

Kinda off-topic, but Cersei's bush got me thinking whether or not that was a merkin. Are girls in the UK clean-shaven or are hairy beavers in vogue?

I don't understand your criticisms. Yeah it was a bit of a clusterfeck what with all the storylines, but how did it jump the shark? As for the wildlings, they moved to a place called The Gift, just south east of castle black, land that they were promised.

Those weren't even Cercei's boobies. Very sad.

I can't believe that ending. fecking hell.

The show is fecking ruthless.

feck-ing hell.

From what I've read... not in any filthy book, but on the internet of course.. the show has now more or less caught up with the books (?). He has some very quick writing to do if that's the case. This doesn't bode very well for the show I think.. Feels like we're not very close to an ending to it all. Would be weird if Daenerys never even managed her invasion. And now she's fecking caught or lost or whatever.

Would the TV-guys go and write their own continuation and conclusion to the story regardless?

Why were the Dothrakis so excited to see some woman btw?

I believe Martin has provided the TV writers with the rest of the story and how it will end.

Arya goes blind, Jon dies and Ramsey lives. Feck this shit.

On a side note, red priestess comes to the wall on the day of Jon's murder. Coincidence? I think not.

What good came of the sacrifice then? I thought magic worked in this series.

Episodes 8, 9 and 10 are probably up there as some of the shows best....best in a bunch anyway. Shame the first half of the season was really weak for building up to them.

Can't believe Lena Headley did that either, almost as wrote too, she's been so protected nudity wise and looked as if they were going to half ass it for a bit, but fair play to her, don't think it would of had the same effect any other way. It was brutal to watch.

All them deaths. People barely even got to hate Stannis rofl.

Apparently it was a body double. Planted her face onto it.

Is this the same apparently on nudity that said around mid season 2 that Emilie Clarke had put a no nudity clause in her contract going forward....which proved to be wrong.

Would kinda weaken it, and I don't know why really, if it was a body double, or at least lower the praise for Headley herself. But it's understandable.

You must watch some sick porn if you that got you aroused tbf.

I've just been reading some pretty interesting theories. If anyone wants a link, then hit me up. Note, it also contains a major book spoiler that hasn't happened and looks like it won't be happen in the show but it's a pretty cool and adds to the theories.

Meh. Jon's death did not come as a surprise. The show kept hinting at it anyway.

Oh, Theon and Sansa. Wtf was that. How are they supposed to survive that jump?

I didn't really like the ending. I'll still be watching it next season since it's GoT and it gets interesting. I'm just confused. Did Sansa and Theon commit suicide? Does Arya go blind? Where is Danearys's dragon? Why did magic not work (stannis not win) ? Does Stannis die?

No, well shes currently blind not sure if she'll stay blind, back in the dothraki sea, lots of theories on this but melisandre has probably moved onto someone else - a timely and convenient return to the wall seems to allude to that even further, yes.

Though, I guess any of these could be up in the air, offscreen deaths lead to endless theorising, but I'm pretty certain Stannis is dead. As is Snow until Melisandre does something maybe, she's been eyeing him up endlessly forever, and well they still haven't remotely touched his parentage in the show, it'd be bonkers if his arc just .... ended.

Looked like they were hoping the snow would break their fall.
Arya is probably going to become "no-one", I guess the first step is losing her face.
Daenearys dragon (aka flying plot device) is to injured to save her.
I'm going to go ahead and say that the magic did work (it stopped the winter), however it's not up to the gods to keep Stannis men loyal. Half of them abandoned him following the child burning if you missed that conversation.
Stannis is most certainly dead.

I'm not holding my breathe for Jons resurrection... I feel I might end up incredibly disappointed.

Yeah it was pretty obvious all season what was going to happen to Jon and what likely happens next.

If that is the end for Stannis, what a complete waste of what was such a long story arc. I have to say I'm incredibly underwhelmed now by Got and although I'll obviously keep watching, for the first time I'm not arsed about the wait for the next season :(

I am, because, quite frankly, Weiss and Benioff are pretty much on their own now, might have minor ideas from GRRM, but I think they are going to heavily their own way.

And bookreaders can't be smug no more. Since the final two seasons will probably come out before book 6 anyway. How fresh is that going to be? It's all fair game, except for deeper stuff.
